These aren't the droids you're looking for.
I've got a bad feeling about this. Roads?
Where we're going, we don't need... roads.
Curse my metal body! I wasn't fast enough! [Groans]
    Help me, Obi-Wan. Ow.

    Y la charla con Daisy?

    Daisy: You're staring at me.

Sam: I'm sorry. I just ... I can't believe I'm sitting here with Quake! You know, this is ... Oh, somebody pinch me.

Daisy:Sam, stop. We've known each other for three years.

    Sam:Yeah, I knew Skye, but you're ... you're "Quake." She's different.

Daisy: No, she's not. And she doesn't love the name "Quake."

Sam: But you're ... you're a superhero! I mean, that's so awesome! Did you know that online, there's a library of fan fiction about Quake? Did not need to know that. Oh, well, you should Google it. Because it's ... it's... [Clears throat] Actually, no, you shouldn't. You shouldn't. Forget I said that. Some of it is a little on the steamier side. Not that I've read it! You ... But you hear things. Wow. I mean, they got you 'shipping with Black Widow. Some of the drawings are ... [Clears throat] They ... They call you Quack. [Chuckles]

    Enorme

    En The Av Club:

Everything about Sam’s discussion of the Quake fan fiction is a delight. From his enunciation of Quake/Black Widow’s awful ‘ship name (“Quack”) to his sudden realization she might not want to look into the artwork and writing, it’s a great gag on both a meta and narrative level.

And what he’s created is essentially “San Junipero,” from the episode of Black Mirror in which people can choose to indefinitely live out their time in a digital world of perpetual freedom. It’s a place that makes people happy—or at least mimics the sense of happiness as best as possible.

Visto el 4x16, What If..., inaugurando el arco Agents of Hydra

    Encantado, estoy encantado

On the casting process, she said after her last callback that “my agent called and said, ‘you didn’t get it… but you didn’t not get it. You’re the only one left.” Joss Whedon favored her, but “the network wasn’t sure.” Whedon wrote a new scene for her to test, and “the next day I got the role.”

Convencional:

It was a move straight out of The Walking Dead: Finally let an increasingly enjoyable character reveal their backstory (As he tells Jemma tonight, Mace was a New York kid, a popular Marvel comics origin story), and then immediately off them.

    Daisy: You told her?

    Coulson:It came up in conversation.

Daisy:How does the existence of an alternate reality come up in in casual conversation?

You assume each and every one of them is a damn C-3PO unless you hear otherwise from me! And this one! If she so much as blinks, take her down.

    Sobre Yo-Yo

Who's everywhere? Where's that Speedy Gonzalez girl? Who's attacking us?! Aida got out.

Who cares?! You knock him over the head, you break his legs, you kick him through the exit! It was a video game!

    Sobre la preocupación de Jemma:

(no recuerdo el personaje que lo dice) She's afraid Fitz will be the same guy he was in the Framework.

Yo Yo: No. She's afraid he still loves someone else.

I didn't think I'd see you again, not after you fell through that hellmouth.

Coulson tras perderse a Daisy y Robbie pelear juntos:

I missed it, didn't I? You two together, and we missed it. Damn.

so S.H.I.E.L.D. should consider taking a breath as well, and remembering the maxim of its creator: Sure, more of the breakneck thrills and exciting action may be what we want, but maybe it’s time to give us what we need—a close look inside the heads of a bunch of people who have just gone through the equivalent of war, and have some attendant scars that should be examined.

Daisy: “Aida, seriously, therapy. Just consider it.”
LOL. Daisy has always had a Buffyesque snark, but that line particularly was very Buffy.

Bottom line is, even if you see 'em coming, you're not ready
for the big moments. No one asks for their life to change, not really. But it
does.So what are we, helpless? Puppets? No. The big moments are
gonna come. You can't help that. It's what you do afterwards that
counts. That's when you find out who you are. You'll see what I mean.

    Momentos:

    Autoconsciencia whedonita

Mack: Where'd that rock send us?
Coulson: Well, I don't have many details, but I do know we're in space.
Mack: Yeah, that makes sense. That's the one thing we haven't done yet.

    --------

Coulson: First of all, I'm not Inspector Gadget.

    --------

Mack: Haven't you ever seen an alien movie?
??: Mack, it's the best way to cover the most ground.
Mack: Okay, you see, you see, that's exactly what they say before they get picked off one by one, and you know who the first one will be.

    En el 5x02 más perlitas:

??: Coulson, please, tell me it's impossible.
Coulson: I think we can all agree at this point that anything is possible.

    Y esto:

Tess: What about all the dangers Earthquakes, floods, sharknados?
Coulson: The whole sharknado thing that's just entertainment.
Tess: Who would put a shark inside a tornado?
    Coulson:They wouldn't. It's fiction. A movie.

    Lance: I love you

    Fitz: I know

‘S.H.I.E.L.D.’s leading ladies on their favourite Whedonverse heroines

Since Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. debuted last year, Chloe Bennet and Elizabeth Henstridge’s characters have been compared to the Joss Whedon heroines that have come before them. It’s both the curse and the blessing of being a woman in a Whedonverse project, as Joss, his brother and S.H.I.E.L.D. showrunner Jed Whedon, and co-collaborator Maurissa Tancharoen, always make a point to have leading ladies actually be leading, as they attempt to take charge of taking down whatever evil entity–vampire, werewolf, ghost, dasterdly dangerous organization–comes in their (and their loved ones’) way. But what do these women think of these girls that lead the charge before them? Who do they admire?

Cinefilles sought to answer both questions when offered a chance to talk to both Bennet and Henstridge earlier this summer at an upfront event for CTV, S.H.I.E.L.D.‘s Canadian broadcaster. And from the sounds of it, like a lot of us Filles, these gals will forever be slayed by she who, well, slays.

“I would say Buffy,” Bennet, who plays S.H.I.E.L.D.’s newest recruit Skye, told Cinefilles when asked to name her favourite Whedonverse gal. Henstridge, the woman behind Simmons of behind-the-scenes dream team Fitzsimmons, added, with a laugh, “I like Willow. I just really like her hair. That’s what I tried to pitch for [Simmons]. Like, ‘Do you not think … I could be a redhead?'”

When Cinefilles noted that while Simmons is definitely a Willow-type, with her badass fighting skills and occasional ‘tude, Skye seems more like Faith, the other, darker slayer played by Eliza Dushku who came in to help Sarah Michelle Gellar’s Buff after it was presumed she was dead (and thus, a new Chosen one must be chosen). Bennet immediately chimed in with a thought that’s on all our minds as we watch any Whedon product: “I think there’s a common thread between all of them of them of being kind of quirky and strong and non-apologetic.”

Both Skye and Simmons played quite strong in the Season 1 finale of S.H.I.E.L.D., what with the former battling–SPOILER ALERT!–in-organization traitor Ward (Brett Dalton) and HYDRA alongside fellow battle-ready babe Melinda May (Ming-Na Wen), and the latter working to save her partner (Iain De Caestecker’s Fitz) and herself from a terrible underwater death scene, while also dealing with his admission of love towards her. They had to keep their heads up in different ways, and they did so in the same sort of compelling, yet realistic manner.

“I really loved and respected the moment when [Fitz] professes his love and [Simmons] doesn’t,” Henstridge told Cinefilles back in June. “She loves him, but it’s not romantic for her. Because that’s how it happens in real life. It’s not like ‘Oh my god, I like you and you like me too!'”

She continued, “Maybe down the line they will get together, but right now for Simmons, that’s not … she just doesn’t have that feeling.”

Henstridge went on to praise Bennet’s big finale moment, particularly the moment when Skye reveals Melinda as her back-up (“That line when you’re like, ‘Oh no, I’ve got something much worse!'” she said, excitedly to Bennet), showing that these women clearly see much to admire in these latest additions to the women of Whedon. And it sounds like there’s going to be a lot more girl-powered action to come too, as Bennet revealed that the finale fight won’t be the last Melinda/Skye team-up in the fallout of them both being betrayed personally and professionally by Ward.

“Skye uses her charisma and her voice as her power and Melinda is not like that at all, so they really couldn’t see eye-to-eye [in Season 1],” the actress said. “Ward has really brought them together as women and they can be like, ‘Yes, screw him!’ In this world of superheroes, it’s really just a man being a jerk that brought them together, which is very … human.”

She added, with a smile, “I think moving forward they’ll understand each other and work together more.”

You know, just like Buffy and Willow. And Buffy and Faith. And Buffy and Cordelia. And Buffy and–you catch our drift.

He llegado al 5x10, y varias cosas:
