Fox Home Entertainment in conjunction with MGM Home Entertainment have announced that they will bring six classic James Bond films to Blu-ray this fall. All six title - 'Dr. No', 'Die Another Day', 'Live and Let Die', 'For Your Eyes Only', 'From Russia with Love', and 'Thunderball' - are currently planned to hit store shelves on October 21st (October 20th internationally).

Each title has received frame-by-frame restoration by famed film restoration gurus Lowery Digital Images.

Eric Doctorow, General Manager Worldwide, MGM Home Entertainment commented, "With 'Quantum of Solace' on the horizon, Bond fever is building once again and there is no better time to re-introduce these beloved films featuring the best picture and sound quality available today to the 60 million+ HD-capable households worldwide"

No technical specs or supplemental features have been announced at this time, but we expect more information to be released in the coming weeks.

Blu-ray Disc is the next generation optical disc format developed for high-definition video and high-capacity software applications. A single-layer Blu-ray Disc holds up to 25 gigabytes of data and a dual-layer Blu-ray Disc holds up to 50 gigabytes of data. This greater storage capacity enables the Blu-ray Disc to store over six times the amount of content than is possible with current DVDs, and is particularly well-suited for high definition feature films with extended levels of additional bonus and interactive material. Blu-ray also features the most advanced copy protection, player backward compatibility with the current DVD format, connectivity and advanced interactivity.

De todas formas. imagino que la edicion estara basada en la ultima restauracion que se ha hecho para la ultima edicion en DVD .... imagino, vamos

Las tengo en VHS en aquel pack numerado que salió (20.000 pehetas), en DVD el mítico maletín plateado (no me acuerdo cuánto) y ahora el paquete en bluray...

Veremos a ver que tal da el salto a la HD esta saga y no nos defraudan con la imagen!!!!!! Compra segura salvo que me metan un audio 2.0 como han hecho en el pak de harry

¿Te daría lo mismo que la redoblaran, si con eso ganaras un 5.1/6.1?

Estoy viendo el BD USA de Muere otro día y me he encontrado un par de fallos de sonido. ¿Es mi reproductor, es el disco? He estado buscando en internete y veo que hubo problemas de reproducción de los discos, pero no he localizado nada sobre fallos de sonido. ¿A alguien más le ha pasado? Uno de ellos es en el min 11.25.
