Ahí va la versión original:
Dear Melissa,
Apologies if you are not the right person to expose my complains, and thanks in advance to give us attention. We are so many that feel really disappointed about the DVD collection with a really deficient quality. An we are a bigger group of DVD consumers, so...your customers.
I'm part of one the most visited blog (forum) of film lovers, (aquí que alguien me incluya la dirección de acceso al blog para visitantes overseas) those ones who are convince that movie is an ART. (You would better not take a look if you are proud about Warner, since now we consider Warner as respectfull company with these great ART). An ART that gives to the world the wonderful chance to have an original at home (like literature, or music)... but just let me know if you would accept a really nice book with broken pages, or a CD about your favourite musician broken. Hope not.
Lately, Impulso company, has put on the market a collection of pictures in DVD never published before in Spain (with both languages), you can not imagine how euphoric was our popular forum, those who respect the artist and prefers to have an original than "an internet version". We kindly presume that the pictures of those collection will have the Warner high quality, will be cleaned, sound equalized... (I know, that this procedure it is not expensive for a big company like yours, I had to paid from my own for a picture in black and white filmed in 16 mm. that we transfer to a DVD). Some of the films published are: King's Solomon Mines, Scaramouche -the only perfect-, Ivanhoe, The Crimson Pirate, Knights of the Round Table -that was worst than a regular VHS videotape- etc.
No one of us ask to have a extras on it (like, director comments, deleted scenes or another bonus that, of course, would be appreciate) We only like to have the picture how it was made. But...What a deception when we saw it!
We are consumers and costumers who will pay to get a product in the best conditions, and the fights between companies to get the rights, the DVD areas and the numerousness distributers, are not our business. Name Warner was on it, and it is a picture, that's all. If this product was a promotion of other product, not complains (Hope that Warner would probably will have complains).
We only like to let you know our feelings. Would not be easy to give the distribution company a picture really cleaned? Those types of pictures are for a movie collectors, if they have a good quality, you probably take the chance to increase the number of costumers, all over the world.
Thanks again for your kindness.
Yours truly,
Sylvia
