Al fin acabé el libro. La historia es entretenida, pero la forma de narrarla es horrible; le sobran 100 páginas lo menos.

John Hurt con la pinta que tiene en Hellboy o en La mandolina del capitán Corelli (esta peli ni la he visto, ni creo que la vea nunca, a no ser que me la pongan en un tren o autobús) es el que más se me ajusta al personaje.
También Ian Holm me pega muchísimo para el personaje. Otro Ian, McKellen también estaría bien.
Aunque no me extrañaría que cogieran al últimamente pluriempleado Brian Cox.
Otras opciones: Geoffrey Rush, Anthony Hopkins, Tom Wilkinson...

Sophie Marceau Decrypts "Da Vinci"
Last Sunday, French newspapers announced six actresses as possibilities to play the female lead role of Sophie Neveu in the much-anticipated adaptation of Dan Brown's "The Da Vinci Code". On the list were Sophie Marceau, Audrey Tautou, Virginie Ledoyen, Amira Casar, Judith Godrèche and Linda Hardy.
Today, it now seems that Sophie Marceau ("Braveheart", "The World is Not Enough") may have won the part after dumping another project in favour of joining the Tom Hanks-led film.
FilmDeCulte reports that Monica Bellucci has just replaced Marceau in the adaptation of "le concile de pierre" that director Guillaume Nicloux is currently moving into production. The reason for her departure? Marceau preferred being involved in "The Da Vinci Code" and is headed for the US.
Bellucci has now inherited the part with shooting on that film to begin in June and last ten weeks. No official word as yet though on whether Marceau is locked.

Sony Pictures Entertainment has set Ian McKellen and Alfred Molina for two major roles in "The Da Vinci Code," the Ron Howard-directed adaptation of the Dan Brown bestseller according to Variety.
Molina will play zealous Bishop Arigarosa, who's keenly interested in the sleuthing activities of Harvard symbologist Robert Langdon (Tom Hanks) and cryptographer Sophie Neveu (Audrey Tautou). McKellen will play Sir Teabing, a wealthy man who acts as a resource for Langdon even as he shows his own ambitions to uncover the Holy Grail.
Brian Grazer is producing with John Calley, whilst Akiva Goldsman wrote the script. Tom Cruise, Audrey Tatou and Jean Reno are already locked for roles, whilst Christopher Eccleston is tipped for a role earlier this week. The film begins production in June for a May 19th 2006 release.
