Me hacen una ligera gracia este tipo de cambios. Claro que le hubiera gustado repetir con su DP habitual, pero siempre me ha sonado un poco como:
No puedo contar con un estupendo director de fotografía... Tendré que conformarme con otro estupendo director de fotografía...
Grande Delbonnel y muchas expectativas para este proyecto.
P.D: Y sí, no he visto Pan, he leído tantas críticas negativas (y lo que ví de trailers no me dieron mucha esperanza), que tengo miedo de lo que me pueda encontrar

Efectivamente, el director de fotografía con el que va a contar no es que sea manco (algo tendrá cuando los Coen, le llamaron al no poder contar con Deakins (al igual que llamardon a Lubezki)).
Fincher, respecto a Pan yo también tenía bastante miedo, pero tras verla es verdad que la película me gustó más de lo que me esperaba y a mí, personalmente, no me pareció tan edulcorada o infantiloide como me temía que podría resultar tras las injerencias del estudio.

Todo lo visto me gusta, incluido el cambio de fotografía. Al menos Delbonnel no es moco de troll. Su trabajo con la cámara es lo mas salvable de HP6.
Wright necesitaba este tipo de trabajo para animarse, sin duda. Volviendo a lo que conoce y haciéndolo como sabe. La caracterización de Oldman es alucinante. Lastima que finalmente no tengamos a Keira por aquí, pero al menos esta Lily James, que en poco tiempo ha pegado un buen salto y me gusta como trabaja.

Veo que todos estabais muy seguros de que Marianelli volvería, pero no os imagináis el grito de alegría que he dado cuando se ha confirmado en filmmusicreporter, pensaba que igual su amistad se había deteriorado después del mal trago de Pan, y el hecho que Wright escogiese a Max Ritcher para su episodio de Black Mirror no contribuía a eliminar esa sensación.
Pero se han vuelto a UK los dos, a hacer lo que mejor saben.
Preveo chorreón de nominaciones a los oscarillos cómo con Expiación, todo tiene una pinta tremenda. El que lleva pleno de momento es Marianelli, colaboración con Wright que tiene lugar, nominación o premio que se lleva.
Veremos si la racha continúa.

Pero lo de Pan no fue porque el estudio le impuso a Wright que lo sustituyera, tras oír el corte?? No se, pero a mi me dio la percepción en todo momento que la culpa del chasco de Marianelli correspondía a Warner, y que su relación con Wright seguía siendo la misma.
Lo de Black Mirror puedo entenderlo como que el compositor no querrá trabajar en televisión, ni que sea para un capitulo, tal vez.
Y si, es de las primeras cintas avanzadas para la temporada de premios del año que viene. Veremos si por fin la Academia se redime de lo de hace 10 años con Expiación, que ya va tocando...

Tampoco me sorprende que vuelva Marianelli, y como ya habéis comentado, dí por sentado que el problema fue más con el estudio que con el director.
Imagino que ambos habrán aprendido de la experiencia. Por lo menos Wright se lo pensará dos veces antes de volver a cruzar el charco.
Algo como lo que le pasó a Cronenberg con La Zona Muerta; el estudio no quería a ese tal Shore que hacía sonidos muy raros con los sintetizadores

Branagh/Doyle, matizo mi afirmación, con magnífico me refiero a que Oldman ya no necesita, en mi opinión, en recurrir a la voz o a ciertos toques tal vez sobreactuados para ser un gran actor. Es una apreciación personal, pero yo siempre le vi algo pasado de rosca en León o El quinto elemento (donde no me importa para nada que lo ésté, por otro lado). De ahí que su Smiley en El topo me enganchara tanto ya que no necesita casi de esa para actuar, lo dice todo con la mirada, con el gesto y con casi no hablar.
Hace eones que no veo JFK, reconozco que no recuerdo su actuación.

Pues yo también voy a matizar la mía:
A veces ha sobreactuado bastante, sin duda, pero una modulación vocal importante no tiene por qué implicar sobreactuación (ahí tenemos a Benedicto, Day Lewis o Neeson). Lo que es incuestionable es que ha mejorado con los años, aunque siempre manteniéndose en un nivel medio muy bueno. En los últimos años, cómo dices, parece que borda todo lo que hace (que, sutil, contenido, incluso apocado, diría, que estaba su Gordon en los Batman de Nolan, absolutamente espectacular).
En sus inicios, eso si lo mantengo bien dirigido estaba igualmente imponente. Su Drácula me sigue pareciendo magistral.
Respecto al topo, en esa interpretación me recordó al mejor Alan Rickman, Que cantidad de matices y estratos, por Dios. Mereció el Oscar sin duda .

Branagh/Doyle me quedo con lo subrayado. Oldman efectivamente, incluso exagerado está bien, pero ahora esta nueva faceta de sutileza, que antes no asomaba tanto, hace que conecte más con él.
Y respecto a El topo, es que no sólo él está perfecto, en mi opinión lo está todo el reparto, así como la dirección, ambientación, música, fotografía... (hasta Julio iglesias ). Para mí, la mejor película, casi casi, de su temporada.
