Sinopsis

A world-famous soccer coach has been murdered and his priceless ring has been stolen – a ring set with the stunning diamond known as the Pink Panther. The French government needs a master detective to solve the crime and recover the gem...but he’s not available, so they recruit Inspector Jacques Clouseau. Steve Martin stars as Clouseau in an all-new adventure of The Pink Panther. A stunning pop star (Beyoncé), a soccer player, a Chinese assassin – who committed the crime? De todas maneras no me da buena espina, Clouseau es Peter Sellers y punto. Benigni al menos pretendía hacer pasar por su hijo.

La veré por curiosidad pero el único y auténtico Inspector Closeau es Peter Sellers con todos mis respetos hacia Steve Martin que me encanta.

Desde quí os invito a haceros con el pack en dvd y con the return of the pink panther en la mula o en z1 como hice yo. Yo de vez en cuando me pongo algún gag largo como alguna de las múltiples peleas con Kato, o el gag en la casa del doctor secuestrado en The Pink Panther strikes again desde que entra en el gimnasio hasta que dispara al inspector de scotland yard(una sucesión de pifiadas para morirse de risa).



Hasta hace poco no había tenido la oportunidad de verlas en Vo, si ya me gustaban dobladas de pequeño, ahora en Vo siendo mayor las adoro. Sin duda estas películas ganan en Vo con ese ingles afrancesado y con el cambio de consonantes.

Fue Sellers quien creó a Closeau y le puso ese acento, ese traje y nos brindo todas esas payasadas. La nueva película tendrá mucha pasta pero le faltarán esos trompazos, acento y demás. Yo creo que va a ser como la película de El inspector Gadget.

Kevin, totalmente de acuerdo, para que hacen un remake de algo que no pueden mejorar, simplemente les lleva al ridiculo. Es como si intentansen hacer un remake de Casablanca, .... Sellers es el unico y punto. Que se calienten el tarro un poquito para hacer nuevos guiones.

No dudo de Martin como actor y guionista pero tiene el listón demasiado alto y a Reno (gran actor) no le veo ni de cerca tan gracioso como Burt Kwouk (Kato). Creo que Martin escribió también la de Bowfinger... gran pelicula<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/laugh3.gif ALT=":DDD">


Esta película va a ser un desfile de famosetes al más puro estilo austin powers, mezclado con el inspector gadget.

¿Cuál es vuestra película preferida de Closeau? Yo no lo tengo claro pero quiza sea The Pink Panther Strikes Again (1976) o The Return Of The Pink Panther (1974), es que las dos son las que mejores gags tienen.<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/victory.gif ALT=":gano">

Yo aún recuerdo la cita con la que empezaban la peli que la muerte de Sellers dejó a medias, y tuvieron que rehacer con retales:

Pero no creo que Reno haga del equivalente de Kato sino del poli ese con gafas, que le hacía la pelota al jefe Dreyfuss (no recuerdo el nombre) o el de el Nuevo Caso del Insp. Clouseau, el poli que acompañaba a Clouseau cuyas teorías eran totalmente diferentes (y más sensatas) que las del inspector.

De todas maneras Martin no es el segundo actor que hace de Clouseau, Alan Arkin ya lo hizo en El Rey del Peligro (Inspector Clouseau, 1968) y Roger Moore en La Maldición de la Pantera Rosa(The Curse of the Pink Panther, 1983).

Mi favorita también es The Return of the Pink Panther, no editada en el pack. ¿Alguien sabe cómo conseguirla?

La mejor edición y la que tengo yo es la de z1 que es widescreen y viene sin subtítulos en ningún idioma. Hay una en z2 uk que es peor ya que es letterbox.

Miento, la mejor edición del mundo es la mía. Gracias a Jed<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/love.gif ALT=":amor"> , ambos nos curramos una edición con la imagen y el audio en inglés del dvd de z1(2.0)+ el audio en castellano de un divx + subtítulos en inglés bajados de internet + subtítulos en castellano traducidos x mí y menús de Jed. Osea que yo sólo compré el dvd y traduje los subtitles. Y voila, the Infrazone Jed-Kam edition.

El dvd z1 tiene la imagen no anamórfica y el grano es muy frecuente. Incluye un trailer y un folleto con notas de producción muy interesantes. Edita Artisan.

Desde luego, que no viene a cuento resucitar un personaje que directamente nos recuerda a las figuras de Blake Edwards-Peter Sellers-Henry Mancini, porque es que va destinadas al fracaso, entres otras cosas, porque la mayoría de la gente tenderá a compararlos con los de toda la vida.

A mí particularmente, Steve Martin, me parece un actor patético. No le llega ni a la suela de los zapatos a Sellers, y su gesticulación y manera de interpretar es sencillamente mala de cojones, porque es artificiosa, chabacana y poco espontánea. No sé que van a aportar esta pandilla de chafarderos de Martin y Kline.
A mi modo de entender, el proyecto casaba más con gente de los antiguos Monty Phyton que con estos simplones

Yo he visto todos los títulos de la saga menos EL REY DEL PELIGRO. Mi favorita es EL NUEVO CASO DEL INSPECTOR CLOUSEAU con la novia tontita que hacía Elke Sommer.
Sí, ya he visto el post anterior. Pero me hubiera hecho gracia que se hubiera rodado otra con Roger Moore haciendo de Clouseau. Pero para mí es un personaje irrepetible.
Es como ver EL MAQUINISTA DE LA GENERAL sin Keaton, o LUCES DE LA CIUDAD sin Chaplin. No tendrían gracia.

David Beckham has turned down a part in a Hollywood blockbuster to concentrate on his football he revealed to The Scotsman. The England captain rejected a chance to star alongside Steve Martin and Beyonce Knowles in the new "Pink Panther" film due to be released next summer. Beckham said: "I was offered a part in the new Pink Panther film. But I had a lot of games that were coming up, so I decided not to do it because of them. It was quite a good part, apparently."

In the flm, Martin plays the Inspector Clouseau role made famous by Peter Sellers, trying to solve the murder of a football coach as well as recovering the stolen Pink Panther diamond. But Beckham has not ruled out a move into the movie business after his football career comes to an end, although he is determined to play on for as long as possible. The Real Madrid midfielder said his agents have already received offers of film roles, after agreeing for his name to be linked with the "Bend It Like Beckham" movie.

"There was Bend It Like Beckham. Then there's a new movie called Goal that I'm involved in as it's to do with (his sponsors) Adidas. I've never said that I definitely want to go into movies. I've been offered a couple of things, but my football comes first. After that, we'll have to wait and see." said the 29-year-old spunk.

He topado con este post, no sabía que había uno sobre la peli. A mi tampoco me parece bien que se haga una nueva secuela de la saga. Peter Sellers (uno de mis actores favoritos) no podrá ser suplantado por Martin en la vida (sí, vale, ya se que no se pretende eso).

Pero miedo me da también la música de Newman, porque obviamente utilizarán el tema de Mancini (aunque no lo veo por ningun lado en los créditos). Si no sucede así, la película dejará de interesarme definitivamente.
