Tema: [HD DVD] El hilo del lector HD DVD, Toshiba HD-E1

Bueno por fin ayer pude probar este reproductor.
Vi dos pelis una en HD y la otra en SD, en un proyector Hitahci 200 y proyectado en una pantalla de 2 m. de base a la resolución nativa del proyector 1280x720p.

HD: la peli fue Training Day sinceramente nunca había visto nada igual en mi proyector,color,.contornos, profundidad......

SD: la peli fue Infliltrados, noté muchísmo grano, no se si es debido a la peli, o que al escalr el Toshiba produce ese grano, lo que me impídió casi ver la peli, más pendiente de ver el grano que otra cosa, lo que si os puedo decir es que creo y digo creo que con mi anterior reproductor un sony ns730 o nunca vi tal cantidad de grano o es que nunca me fijado?.

Los que tengais este reproductor tambien ahbeís notado esto'

por qué no pruebas con la misma película, hd y sd, en el toshi para hacer una comparación más real?

Lo del grano también depende si el director de cine así lo quiere...... o de algunas malas versiones hechas en dvd, pero para infiltrados dudo que vayan a hacer algo así... no??

La diferencia entre HD y SD está por lo menos para mi clarísima, en cuanto a la de infiltrados he de decir que es la versión de alquiler, que en teoría pienso que será igual en cuanto a calidad con la de venta.

El HD E1 da la mejor imagen en dvd por Hdmi reescalado que han visto mis ojos.

No lo dudo albertuki, sólo que al ver la de infiltrados, quizá vi demasiado grano, que puede que sea de la peli, pero ya sabes cuando buscamos defectos en un "juguetito" nuevo

La distancia de visionado es 5 m, práticamente inapreciable la rejilla asi que el grano..........

no ostis, que me refiero que "ya vi tu equipo" en relación lo que tu has apuntado al principio...
yo tube este aparatito hace un par de meses y la verdad es que escalaba muy bien los SD... Grano, si se aprecié ciertamente... judder o como se llame.... en unas patallas se aprecia más que en otras...

el Fnac se está vendiendo por 599 euros.
En varias web lo tienes por debajo, incluso, de 500 euros y cudeiro creo recordar que dijo tener alguno a 410 euros.

Yo tengo este lector también y puedo decir que grano se vé si lo tiene la pelicula,pero por lo general no suele verse,a no ser que el director busque ese efecto.

Otra cosa es que la copia en dvd sea mala,entonces los defectos se ven tanto en el E1 como en cualquier otro lector.

En el hilo de Lanzamientos HD se habló de esto con motivo del lanzamiento de la pelicula Corrupción en Miami,la cual está llena de grano en muchas escenas,pero como un efecto buscado por el director y no como un fallo en el master de la pelicula.

Con respecto al HD-E1 solo comentar lo que ya he dicho en anteriores post,y es que me parece un buen lector,el cual escala los dvd standar dando una calidad impresionente,al igual que hace con los hd-dvd y que a nivel visual no creo que tenga mucho que envidiar a su hermano mayor,el HD-XE1.

Yo lo compré en Reyes,sobre todo por no esperar al XE1,el cual parecía que se iba a retrasar bastante,pero a dia de hoy no me arrepiento de su compra,eso sí,si tuviera que comprar ahora uno creo que me decidiría por el XE1,pero más bien sería por el tema del audio.

Por cierto,ya he visto que el XE1 se puede comprar por el mismo precio que me costó a mi el E1,y es que por no tener paciencia para esperar al XE1, pués he pagado la novatada en el precio.

Aquí otro feliz poseedor Lo uso con un proyector Hitachi TX100, por HDMI, proyectando a 3,30 mts con una pantalla Projecta High Contrast manual de 1,80 de ancho. Lo vemos a 3,30 mts.
De momento sólo he visto El pianista (no es para tirar cohetes), Apolo XIII en hd-dvd , y un par de sd-dvd reescalados a 720p
Estoy esperando a que me lleguen unos conciertos en hd (ver hilo en lanzamientos hd)

Ayer vi en SD La ciudad Perdida, quizá me he obsesionado con el grano, y lo mismo con mi anterior sony no me había fijado siquiera y en este me fijo en todo.
Y como dice franciscus en HD por lo menos para mi es una pasada como se ve, lástima de videoclubs.

Estuve probando el HD-E1 en diciembre del año pasado, creo. Iba en compañía del amigo Difett y creo que ya lo puse en el hilo de la HD, pero me causó un magnífica impresión como lector SD.

Tengo que reconocer que las pruebas se hicieron en Boulanger y no pude configurar los diferentes dispositivos a mi gusto, pero yo no aprecié nada de lo que tú comentas en el par de dvd´s que estuvimos viendo. Me pareció un lector dvd cojonudo y como reproductor HD también.

yo proyecto con un sony h-60 y anoche estuve viendo infiltrados y ciertamene se ve el grano pero es por la pelicula y no por el reproductor ya que este ultimo d3esde que lo tengo me ha demostrado que escalando es un buen apartato y si una copia en sd es buena con el e1 se ve de lujo.

Gracias ZX10R eso es lo que hacía falta que alguien más hubiese visto esa peli (Infiltrados) en el toshi, me alegro que tu tb hayas visto grano.

Acabo de recibir notificación de Toshiba via e-mail comunicándome que está disponible la actualización de firmware 1.3 tanto para el HD-E1 como para el HD-EX1.

Me acaba de llegar un email de Toshiba comunicandome que ya está disponible para actualizar a la versión 1.3 ,que sirve tanto para el E1 como para el XE1.

Si hay alguien que lo actualize, que por favor diga que mejoras nota en el lector una vez actualizado,ya que yo por el momento no tengo ningún problema con el lector, pero si mejora en algo pués lo actualizaré.
