Ha muerto Frank Frazetta.
El hombre que vino del cómic y llegó a la pintura. El mejor heredero de Hal Foster. El que nos hizo imaginar, mejor que nadie, cómo era la Edad Hyboria y cómo era Conan. El que demostró que se podía hacer arte del bueno dibujando temas de fantasía y de serie B. El que nos hizo envidiar por igual a Black Jack Tarr y a George Lucas, porque los dos, el personaje de ficción y la persona real, tenían originales suyos. El que perdió el uso de la mano derecha y aprendió a dibujar con la mano izquierda.

Frank Frazetta, one of the most renowned fantasy illustrators of the 20th century whose stunning and energetic images influenced a generation, died this afternoon at a hospital near his home in Boca Grande, Florida. He was 82.
The cause of death was a stroke, said Rob Pistella and Steve Ferzoco his business managers.
