Coño, esperemos que no. Como ha dicho Jashir, todo son rumores, así que tiempo al tiempo.

Puede que quizá sólo dijeron aquello de los guinistas para alimentar el hype, o simplemente para futuras descargas de episodios, y que el juego ya esté casi finalizado.

¿Y porque septiembre? Quizá por una razón bien sencilla: en noviembre sale Gears of War 2, y lo sacan antes para no perder ventas. Quien sabe.

Conociendo a los compradores de Microsoft, estoy seguro de que el que salga Gears of War en Noviembre no afectará a Alan Wake si finalmente sale en septiembre.

Las novedades de Xbox importantes (y Alan Wake lo es) se venden sí o sí. Y luego se mueren en las estanterías.

Desde Remndy han dicho en sus foros que dentro de poco habrá novedades sobre Alan Wake.
Ahora habrá que ver si serán sólo nuevos pantallazos o vídeos o se dirá una fecha de salida.

Resulta que él mismo aclaró poco después que se trata de su opinión, y que no tiene ni idea de fechas de lanzamiento:

Though I have to say, watching my innocent comment explode on to a random news site shows just how much anticipation there is for the game. In 13 hours, that story has already hyped up 64 comments on one site alone.

En vista de lo muertísimo que está el tema de Alan Wake, os pongo unos screenshots de hace un añito (pero que no están en el post):

Intentaré resumirlo en tres palabras: ¡La puta ostia!

Pues son capturas de hace un año, majo. Se supone que habrá mejorado la hostia. Bueno, a menos que dejen los gráficos así y estén dedicados al argumento.

Si, son unos gráficos geniales, pero no creo que hayan mejorado mucho respeto el año pasado. Más que nada porque no creo que ni la X360 ni la PS3 sean capaces técnicamente de dar más que esas imagenes, y creo que se habrán dedicado durante ese año en el desarrollo de la historia y todas sus fases o misiones.

EN el caso de que hayan mejorado gráficamente, será más por la versión de PC, que aquí si q no tiene límites, y más después de que haya salido (la demo gráfica de) Crysis.

Y una apreciación personal: Se me esta acabando el hype de Alan Wake. Están tardando demasiado, y si al final no lo sacan hasta el año que viene, se le pasará el arroz.

Eso comenta todo el mundo en los foros de Brightfalls.net (los oficiales).

Y es que si sacaran videos nuevos o algo... pero es que desde esas capturas hace un año no ha salido NADA de NADA de NADA.

Y no es sólo que se nos esté acabando el hype. Es que como tarden más el juego ya no va a ser tan impresionante. El tema de la luz y tal. Hacían mucho incapié en que la luz iba a ser muy importante, que si los efectos de luz, que si tal... pues ya ha llegado el Alone In The Dark para hacer algo que tal vez incluso sea mejor.

De momento Alan sigue teniendo la baza del peazo terreno exterior que tiene, ¿pero cuánto le va a durar eso?

No sé, yo creo que no lo están haciendo bien.

IGN has listed every videogame officially confirmed to be shown at this year’s Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3 08). Running from July 14 to July 17, the expo will showcase the year’s upcoming blockbuster titles. However, our most anticipated title, Alan Wake, is missing from the list of showcase games.

As you can expect Microsoft to be the primary marketer for the game, they should be including Alan Wake in their showcases whenever they feel the game is ready to be shown to the public. Their list for this year’s expo includes anticipated titles such as Fable 2, Gears of War 2, Halo Wars and Too Human.

Before coming to quick conclusions, IGN points out, the list includes every videogame that has been “officially confirmed” and that there is always the chance that companies will be keeping their surprises a secret until the show actually starts. We will just have to wait and see…

En fin, más de lo mismo. Ligerísima esperanza de que al menos enseñen algo nuevo.

mi nivel de hype está tocando fondo. Ese juego, cuando salga, ya estará demasiado "atrasado" tecnicamente respecto a los actuales. Una pena.

Ya, bueno... de todas formas yo prefiero que lo pulan todo lo que haga falta y que no sufra el "efecto Assassin's Creed".

Vale, pero que lo vendan como un "Classic", por lo que tardarán en sacarlo

Pinta de la hostia este juego. Qué currada la iluminación, joder.

Eso sí, el motor gráfico me recuerda un poco al de Half Life 2

Alan Wake será mostrado en el Tokyo Game Show

Si antes hablo en otro hilo de la mala pinta que ya me estaba dando, hoy empieza a circular por unos cuantos sitios (uno de ellos) esta noticia. Por lo visto ha salido anunciado en una página promocional de Windows Vista de Microsoft. Aquí la página famosa.

Remedy respond to TGS 2008 showing rumours.

"The recent news on Alan Wake making the rounds was the old Microsoft Vista promotion competition which was held early 2007. In this promotion the winner of the competition would have their face digitized and shown in the game.

The winner who goes by the nickname “duffty” on the Alan Wake forums posted about his experience over a year ago on the 2nd of July 2007:

“I want to thank remedy for showing myself and my mate round their offices a couple of weeks back. They are exactly what you expect.. friendly,hard working, fun, finnish, and bloody clever paople. Thanks again mika and the team who gave us their valuable time.
ps. use my ugly face as you wish. mark”

Recently this promotion resurfaced and was posted on some major gaming news sites and blogs and caused quite a stir due to a comment in the promotion which many people confused as confirmation that Alan Wake will be shown at the 2008 Tokyo Game Show. The comment was “Let the games begin with a trip to Finland to be digitally mastered into Alan Wake’s world, then jet off to Tokyo to the 2008 Tokyo Games Show to be on the scene and on the screen!”

Markus Maki, Director of Development at Remedy Games, recently posted squashing this rumour stating:

“The Microsoft Vista promotion referring to TGS took place in 2007, and is old news - we’ve had the winner over for taking the pictures already.

Sorry for the confusion and possible disappointment, but this was not an annoucement that Wake would be shown at TGS 2008. Remedy’s team is just getting back from a bit of holiday and we haven’t had time to chat with Microsoft on upcoming shows/showings yet.”

I can safely say that Remedy is hard at work on Alan Wake and when they are ready to show information you’ll see it here. The game is not cancelled or abandonware.

Resumiendo: Hubo una promo con el Windows Vista y el ganador iba a ser digitalizado para el juego (como extra, supongo) y luego iba a viajar al TGS. Pero eso fue el año pasado.

Remedy dice que acaban de volver de vacaciones y que todavía no han hablado con Microsoft sobre futuras ferias y tal.

Asín que, como siempre. Lo mismo lo muestran en TGS o lo mismo no. :grrr

Bueno, en el estreno de la peli de Max Payne en Finlandia (el día 15 de este mes) se va a proyectar un nuevo trailer de Alan Wake.

Supongo que se filtrará a youtube en breve.

El director del juego dice que han sacado el trailer por ponerlo en el cine con la peli, pero que si no hubiera habido peli no hubieran sacado nada de momento. Vamos, que el trailer no significa que quede poquito para que salga el juego.
