Aquí tenéis las características de este título aún inédito en nuestro país, que parece formar parte del subgénero de psychokillers, y que no obtuvo muy buena acogida por parte de la crítica especializada ni del público (poco más de 10 millones de dólares recaudados en la taquilla americana). Aún así quizás pueda interesar a los incondicionales del género.
Universal Studios Home Entertainment just sent over the final info on its DVD of CRY_WOLF, the campus stalker pic released this past September by Rogue Pictures. Debuting December 20, the disc will be available in both its PG-13 rated theatrical version and an unrated edition with “footage too frightening for theaters!” The latter will present the film in both anamorphic 2.35:1 widescreen and fullscreen, with Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround sound; extras include:
• Audio commentary by director/co-writer Jeff Wadlow, producer/co-writer Beau Bauman and editor/associate producer Seth Gordon
• Deleted/extended scenes with optional commentary by Wadlow, Bauman and Gordon
• Alternate scene with optional commentary by Wadlow, Bauman and Gordon
• Wolves, Sheep and Shepherds: Casting the Roles featurette with original casting tapes and optional commentary by Wadlow and Bauman
• Behind the Scenes: Enter the Sinister Set featurette, a tour with star Julian Morris optional commentary by Wadlow, Bauman and Gordon
• Before They Cried Wolf: The Filmmakers’ Short Films: TOWER OF BABBLE, which got them into the Chrysler Million Dollar Film Festival, and MANUAL LABOR, which won it, leading to CRY_WOLF’s production
The PG-13 disc will be fullscreen only and contain the commentary, the deleted/extended scenes, the casting featurette and MANUAL LABOR. Retail price for each will be $29.98.
