Aún no me puedo creer que no esté nominado en unos premios tan ridiculos y casposos como los Goya, donde siempre salen los mismos año tras año y han obviado realmente un trabajo excepcional. Como siempre de fuera vendrán para arreglarlo.

No estoy 100% seguro, pero creo que la razón de que no esté nominada la BSO de Madres paralelas en los Goya, no es tanto que la Academia no haya querido nominarla, sino que prefieren la de "Maixabel", y por las normas de los Goyas no puede estar nominada la misma persona 2 veces en la misma categoría.

Penelope ha resurgido cual ave fénix. Cuando parecía que su carrera estaba muerte, ¡qué alegria! Esto es lo que me gusta a mi de la temporada de premios, que es una montaña rusa de subidas y bajadas, de emociones y sensaciones a flor de piel, ¡estoy muy emocionada por este triunfo de Madres Paralelas, que revitaliza y da un nuevo impulso, un soplo de aire fresco para afrontar esta carrera de fondo! ¡Vamos, Penélope!

De momento ha ganado la prestigiosa copa Volpi, el premio de la crítica de Los Ángeles y el premio del festival de Palm Springs.

Tiene menciones en los Satellite, los premios de Australia -los AACTA-, los Feroz, los Goya, los José María Forqué y la crítica de Londres.

Aunque en los Globos fue ignorada, el hecho que la película esté nominada en dos categorías -película internacional y música- puede ser un buen preludio a que sea nominada en otros premios y círculos de críticos.

Si el gremio de actores la apoya tiene la nominación al Oscar casi asegurada. Necesita el apoyo de los SAG o los Bafta, pero desde luego que su carrera no ha muerto.

Ha pasado de octava a sexta posición, muy reñida con Lady Gaga.

La Crítica de St. Louis ha anunciado sus ganadores de 2021.

Pues me alegra ver el film de Aranoa en la lista de (semi)finalistas, algo de lo que yo dudaba. También me alegra ver ahí a Iglesias (junto a Desplat, Britell o Hart).

La que no está ya en liza en película internacional es Titane (ya veremos si consigue nominación en alguna otra categoría), tal vez una apuesta muy arriesgada la que jugó Francia.

Centrándome en la categoría de dirección, diría que ahora mismo el realizador a batir es Jane Campion. Y viendo tanta mención, ya no veo tan descabellada otra nominación para Villeneuve. Con las nominaciones del DGA (que suelen coincidir en unos cuatro nominados con las nominaciones al Oscar) creo que se aclarara bastante la carrera en esta categoría,
