Pues vaya faena, no se qué incidencia será, tal vez el tema del iris dinámico que era lo único que no se pudo probar cuando vimos el NX9.
Saludos!
Bueno, al otro lado del charco ya saben el motivo del retraso.

I am reading a lot of rumours regarding what is the actual reason that is causing the delay... and it concerns me that there is stuff and nonsense being banded about, including the likes of there being "a design problem" and/or that JVC is still "doing beta testing" at this late stage. Sorry, but none of these rumours are true.
As it happens, when I was informed of the delay with respect to the supply of the first batch of new projectors to Europe I contacted all relevant devisions of JVC to find out what the hell was going on. And for a variety of reasons JVC shared with me the cause for the delay. Hence, my source is the horse's mouth so to speak. Therefore, I can reveal that it is most certainly 100% definitely neither of these things. These are simply rumours without substance.
The fact of the matter is that it is quite simply the case that there was a supply issue with respect to one of the electrical components, namely one of the electrical IC chips, from the respective electrical IC chip manufacturing factory in Japan, and it is this and only this which is the cause behind the delay; compounded by JVC's own success with respect to there being an avalanche of preorders with respect to these new projectors, which is very understandable all things considered.
At the time, the comment was made to me by JVC Europe that they did not see how it would be possible for JVC United States to have production units available on time still, because all of the respective electrical IC chips come from the same factory in Japan; hence why they had told me that the delay was worldwide. So it looks like they were right about that.
Either way, there most certainly are no design flaws and the projectors are not still undergoing beta-testing at this late stage. It is simply the case that either the first batch of these electrical IC chips had something wrong with them and this was subsequently picked up and consequently rejected by JVC's quality control testing and/or JVC has been a victim of its own success in this regard and has needed to book a second production run of the respective chips in order to meet the magnitude of the overwhelming initial orders; where either way, I say kudos to JVC!
So if you wanted to know the reason behind the delay, there you go. And there really is absolutely nothing to worry about folks. Seriously
