It appears that the long standing rumors of an extended edition are finally true. Sony Pictures Home Entertainment will be releasing Spider-Man 2: Extended Edition in late April, timed to coincide with the web-slinger's latest big-screen adventure "Spider-Man 3." No details about the disc are available yet, but we anticipate more information in about a month (if that). If you can't wait that long, however, Fox-owned cable network FX will premiere the new extended cut on January 2nd, 2007 at 7:00PM EST/PST. The FX broadcast also will include all-new sneak peek footage at the upcoming sequel.

Ya habia una version con algunos segundos de mas, verdad? Esto supongo que sera otra historia, pero lo ha aceptado Raimi?

Como aun no la tengo en dvd, ya me va bien...

Y yo aun no la tengo en HD, con lo cual aun me esta mejor que bien...

De hecho si yo nunca la he comprado es por la poca calidad de imagen de la edición en DVD actual y porque se sabia, por cierto en Tercer Mercado ya ponía Spider-Man 2.1 así que se supone saldrá por estos lares.

Raimi ya anuncio cuando se estreno la pelicula en cines que la Sony sacaria una "version extendida" sin contar con él, cuando se estrenara la 3. Que esa version simplemente tendria algunas tomas mas de FX y seguramente mejor calidad de imagen, pero que no es ningun director's cut.

No se porque pensaba que ya habia salido esa versión.

si repopo la quiere ver en HD espero que tenga un reproductor Blu-ray o piense comprarse la PS3 porque siendo una peli de Sony solo va a salir en formato Blu-ray seguro

A mi también me ha sorprendido, aunque no sé cómo puede sorprenderme a estas alturas otra edición extendida más.

Más les valdría hacer un director's cut o un montaje alternativo del Spiderman original.

Pero bueno, esperaremos a ver el alcance de este nuevo montaje.

Personalmente no veo que se le podría añadir a Spider-Man 2 para que fuese mejor peli de lo que ya lo es. Si acaso a la primera si que habría que arreglarle bastantes cosas del montaje, en especial durante la segunda mitad, donde la cosa se convierte en un aburrimiento total.

Raimi avisó, sí.... Poco después de la salida en DVD de Spider-Man 2, creo recordar (lejanamente.....) que dijo en una entrevista que los de Sony estaban haciendo efectillos para extender las escenas de efectos. Y que él estaba totalmente al margen de tal proyecto pero que le parecía bien para los fans o algo así. Manera políticamente correcta de no quedar mal con una multinacional que está a punto de soltarte 250 (o mas) MILLONES DE DÓLARES (¿cuántos pisos te puedes comprar con eso?) para que hagas otra peliculilla de estas.
Ni siquiera han tenido pelotas de llamarla Spider-Man 2.5, sino que reconocen que es un Spider-Man 2.1, por no llamarlo Spider-Man 2.001...
Además, no preocuparse, que el montaje nuevo este se convertirá en el éstandar de ahora en adelante, seguro que cuando la editen en alta definición será esta versión, etc. etc.

Ya se veía a venir. Yo tengo la edición de dos discos de Spiderman 2. Me vale y me sobra. Ya tengo suficiente con la que tengo. No digo que, si esta edición sale muy barata, no vaya a caer, todo puede ser

Al parecer esta versión de Spiderman ya ha sido mostrada en TV y en importforums por ejemplo han puesto detalles de algunas de ellas:

[spoiler:86efaa4ffb]-the swing after Spider-Man grabs the pizzas from the guy on the balcony was about a second longer... Spidey started from a higher-up position.

- the saturation/filter of the film was slightly different... in some scenes, the red was brighter... and it seemed as if the color blue was standing out more

- there was different dialogue between mj and peter in the 'backyard' scene:
mj talks about how the photographer liked her face, and how she got the role in the play... peter says that mj's dream came true... mj asks about how he is doing... he says he is fine..... it then cuts back to old footage...
then, mj says "you want to say something... I know what it's like to want to say something but it just won't come out" yada yada...
a little later, there is a new full body shot of them just standing there; it looked very random and I'm glad it got cut......
mj says she is seeing someone and peter says "oh, therapy"....
When mj walks away at the end of the scene, there is an extra shot of peter standing alone at the fence.........
^ this whole backyard sequence wasn't very impressive... you could tell what was new and what wasn't, because the final cut material looked different (it had a glossy-ness to it, so the other shots looked out of place).... I agree that this version was less awkward between the two of them, but it was so corny and poorly acted on mj's part... it didn't feel like the 'movie' her.

- right after this is a new shot of Peter driving home in his "scooter-thing" ... it shows him lock it up and then walk into the front door of his complex.

- there was a longer pause between harry's line: "see you in sweden" and otto's line "interesting fellow, your friend" (peter and otto wait for harry to leave)

- mr. ditkovich yelled more random foreign stuff when peter ran off... (this was when he had no pants on)

- the two criminals, during the play sequence, shouted a few more one-liners... there was also an extra shot of a police car being smashed (just a new angle, actually)....
As the criminals shot at spider-man, the whole "dodging bullets against a wall" shot went from about 1.5 seconds to 3 seconds.

- right after mj leaves the theater (after checking to see if peter is sitting across the street), there is a longer shot of the police cars approaching.

- peter has a "bigger" reaction to the height (in the scene where his powers start failing)

- peter has an extra line about his feelings for mj in the pay-phone sequence.

- when the pins go into otto's back during the demonstration, there is only a single shot of them going in, instead of a double...
he also has a slight struggle when using them at first... (it takes about two seconds longer for them to start working)

- there was a shot of the demonstration's machine where it had a bright blue base... not sure if this is new or not, but I never noticed it before.... perhaps an effect of the different saturation?

- harry looks over for peter when the demonstration starts to go wrong... only to find that he is not there...
the line "everybody clear the room!" is followed by that.... which is in a slightly different spot.

- right before the glass windows burst and kill otto's wife, there is an extra shot of what appears to be the machine pulling the windows with some kind of force...
there is another extra shot of otto reacting to this "force"

- when spider-man pulls the plugs on the demonstration machine, we see it in a lot more angles... about three.

- there was a "controversary" a while back about the hospital cross being red when it should really have been green, so it was changed..... well, this version had a red one though.... uh-oh!

- in the hospital scene, there was an extra two seconds of the tentacles holding people and the people struggling to get loose......... at the end of the scene, there was about an extra five seconds of hesitation before the final guy was smashed in the face... I kinda liked it more this way... it human-ized the arms a bit better.

- harry said an extra sentence before he slapped peter in the face... it wasn't anything amazing though, and I already forget it.

- when the car goes into the cafe, there is an extra shot of the car knocking the table (and everything on it) to the ground [/quote][/spoiler:86efaa4ffb]

Esto se sabia desde el día que salió Spider-man 2 de hecho lo sorprendente es todo lo que han tardado en sacarla, yo por eso nunca me compré la 2 a pesar de haberla visto a precios cercanos a 5 €, la posibilidad de una EE, la mala imagen de la 2 respecto a otros paises y el robo de los audiocomentarios hizo que nunca me hiciese con ella.

Yo compré hace un par de semanas (sabiendo que saldría el 2.1) la edición antigua de 2 discos por 5€ y tan feliz.

La película no me gustó tanto como para pagar precio de estreno bastante tiempo después del estreno de su primera edición.

Además eso de "extras pdte de confirmar", me suena a "los pondremos el día antes de su salida ya que serán los mismos que ya tenía".

La portada muy chula, pero ¿soy el único que ve absurdo lo de "2.1"?
Es como lo de "X-men 1.5", si tienes todas las versiones queda chulo a la par que estético (1 - 1.5 - 2) (1 - 2 - 2.1), pero si no tienes la primera versión da sensación de tener una saga sin completar.

Además, ¿8 minutos divididos en 25 escenas?....
Espero que tenga un "Play a todo" porque sino, no va a dar lugar a que sueltes el mando antes de que acabe cada escena.

Que lamentable. Lo proximo q sera, decelerar los creditos del final para q parezca q dura mas? Madre mia, a mi se me caeria la cara de verguenza...

Supongo q RAIMI no pintara mucho en la estafa esta, si tiene algo de dignidad.

Eso suponiendo que no hagan como la edición extendida de Black Hawk derribado, que tenía también 8 minutos más y no los doblaron
