USA Today is reporting that a brand new edition of Toy Story, the landmark computer-animated film from Disney and Pixar, will be arriving this September 6th. The 10th Anniversary edition will feature improved video and sound quality, with the sound being enhanced by Lucasfilm's Gary Rydstrom, winner of seven Academy Awards and a member of the Toy Story production team. Extras on this two-disc set will include a Legacy of Toy Story featurette, which includes interviews with celebrated filmmakers on the importance of the film, credited with launching the trend away from traditional hand-drawn animation, a new "making of" documentary, 10 deleted scenes, early animation tests and a new music video of Lyle Lovett and Randy Newman singing You've Got a Friend in Me. Me alegra que vayan reeditando titulos porque al menos hay una minima esperanza de que salgan aquí, ¿alguien que tenga el disco que venía con el Box Set de Toy Story 1 y 2 puede mirar si se trata de extras más o menos similares?

En casos como Tarzán han traido la reedición de la EE, aunque tambien es verdad que seguramente se trate de una medida para promocionar Tarzán 2. Espero no tener que ver nunca la infecta Toy Story 3 de Disney sin Pixar para ver el DVD Doble en España la verdad <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/knife.gif ALT=":cuchillo">

Por cierto que ahora empiezan con las EEs por 10 años, este es el cuento de nunca acabar. Este año en teoria era Pocahontas (que Disney España de momento pasa de sacar aquí y habrá que ver si lo sacan), seguro que en Próximos años tenemos EE de peliculas como "El Jorobado de Notre Damm" o "Hercules" que no están consideradas Platinium pero tienen suficiente tirón como para tener una Edición Especial proximamente y más si la imagen nos es muy buena en la anterior como en Hercules.

Bueno Toy Story 1 ha estado a menos de 10 € y con como está Disney ahora mismo si sale en poco estará a 12, yo creo que es un gasto razonable para una de las peliculas más influyentes de la historia.

Off Topic : Hombre no se sabe, pero ya de por si ponersela a hacer para hacerle la jugarreta a Pixar sin contar además con las voces de las anteriores peliculas por mi parte la equiparo a una cutresecuela de esas que saca Disney de todos sus Clásicos. Que no esperen mi dinero.

Si es el mismo disco de extras del Legacy más un par de documentales ineditos, pues cojonudo; ya me quedaría yo con la 2 y la 1 para el sobrinillo. ¿Toy Story 2 en el Legacy tenía algún extra destacado en el disco de la pelicula?

Por fin, despues de tantas penurias mis réplicas han sido contestadas y mi infinita paciencia será por fin recompensada.

Gracias a que no gasté mis dineros en la infame y claramente deficiente edición anterior, ahora cada vez falta menos para que una edición que haga justicia a la película salga en nuestro pais, y no tenga reparos en abrir la cartera para gastarme los euros en una edición decente y justa.

La duda que tengo es si la edición anterior la regalarán con el chopped en el ahorraMas, para poder hacerle un regalito a mi sobrino...

Yo con la edición que tengo tanto de "Toy Story" como de "Toy Story 2" estoy más que satisfecho, y más teniendo en cuenta que me costaron solamente 10 € cada una en Carrefour (y menos que podían haberme costado si espero una semana, que justo después fue el 3x2 ). Es verdad que vienen pelín peladas de extras, pero tampoco es como para calificar de "infames" estas ediciones.
Y de las películas en sí qué decir: Lo mejor que ha hecho y jamás hará Pixar, por mucho que "Buscado a Nemo" y "Los Increíbles" sean también grandes películas.

Noticia sobre el lanzamiento de ambas Ediciones Especiales en ZonaDVD., salen finalmente el 14 de diciembre.

Para mi personalmente es de mis DVDs más esperados de final de año, según comentaban en las reviews el nuevo master de la primera es acojonante y los extras están realmente bien. Además sacan ese día también un pack con ambas, con lo que en rebajas se quedan tiradas (si entran claro); lo único que si vienen cada una con fajita de cartón como las últimas Pixar y el pack con ambas no lo lleva pues habrá que pillarlas sueltas

Pues me alegro un montón, porque la primera parte aún no la tengo en DVD y así aprovecho. Aunque la portada que ha puesto Self de la segunda parte no me gusta nada, supongo que también picaré. ¿Creéis que habrán mejoras de imagen y sonido respecto a las anteriores ediciones?

De entrada la primera en EEUU tiene con respecto a la anterior un DTS espectacular y una imagen con una nueva transferencia que según he leido en las reviews es espectacular.
