Tema: Akira - bilogía en imagen real

Vale, tengo dos maneras de enfocar esto:

-La de psicópata obseso y ultrafan de AKIRA, por el que cualquier version de la obra magna (comic y anime) sería despreciada contundentemente.

o

-La de psicópata obseso y ultrafan de AKIRA que confía en que hay gente que tiene amor por la obra de Otomo y que cree que tiene que salir algo bueno de todo esto.

De momento no se como posicionarme. Ya veré, pero estoy mas en la segunda opcion que en la primera.

Sabía que si iba a ser llevada a la gran pantalla por parte de Hollywood le iban a cambiar la localizacion y el nombre de los personajes, eso era de calle, pero la verdad es que cuando he leido lo de "new manhattan" me ha entrado un retortijon.

Pero por ejemplo el hecho de que vayan a hacer una versión de dos peliculas considerando los seis volúmenes y no el anime, me da esperanzas porque parece que quieran plasmar la obra con bastante cuidado.

Eso si, el nombre que no me lo toquen, porque si en vez de llamarse Akira se llama John, es que ni la voy a ver!

Ahoy, squirts! Quint here. I'm not the anime expert here, but you don't need to be an anime geek to know AKIRA or to get excited about seeing it live action.

I've noticed a trend here... first we had Tobey Maguire get a live-action ROBOTECH movie moving forward, attached to produce and star, and now his buddy Leonardo DiCaprio is doing the same for AKIRA. Some friendly competition maybe? Or maybe this is just the shit that greases their geek-wheels.

Ruairi Robinson, who did that awesome 3-D animated short film FIFTY PERCENT GREY, will make his feature debut directing the project, which was pitched as a two-part epic.

The Hollywood Reporter story doesn't mention DiCaprio doing anything other than producing via Appian Way banner, but I have it on good authority that he is also set to star as the lead, Kaneda.

Por supuesto falta confirmacion y tal, pero mas o menos nos da una idea de por donde van a ir los tiros.
