Sí, por favor, hablemos de la edición. En dvdenlared han dicho esto del dvd de extras de alien3:

<hr />De todos los DVD de extras de este Pack este es uno de los más cortos, bueno salvando las diferencia, nada menos que 2 horas de vídeo y casi mil imágenes, este puede ser uno de los más flojos ya que el nivel de los dos anteriores estaba muy muy alto, en este DVd de extras se recogen muchos datos interesantes, pero debido al corte realizado, quizás uno de los puntos de interés que era ver el mosqueo monumental del director ha sido corregido y cortado, con lo que vemos es un DVD de extras que nos muestra el típico como se hizo.... de no haberse cortado hubiera sido diferente ya que se hubiera visto todo él desde otro punto de vista no tan bonito.<hr />

una pregunta clara y concisa...

¿se puede ver Alien3 en castellano con las escenas añadidas en VO con subtítulos, o hay que ver toooooda la peli en VO con subtítulos?????

Yo he teniodo solo tiempo de ver los archivos de laserdisc de ALIEN y son alucinantes, con fotos y peliculas del diseño de la criatura que nunca había visto antes. casi mejor que los documentales que vienen con la peli.

<hr />These alternate cuts show up the first differences between the Region 1 and Region 2 releases. The versions themselves are the same, but the options available with them differ. On the Region 1 discs, you can view an optional 'deleted footage' marker, which pops up whenever a new scene is playing. In addition, if you choose to view the theatrical version, you are still able to view the deleted footage from the theatrical cut's 'Supplements' menu. Both of these options are missing from the Region 2 discs. In addition, the occasional subtitles that pop up during Aliens 3's more difficult to hear new footage are also completely absent. Ok, so it's not the end of the world, but I just can't really see any good reason why such basic options should be missing. <hr />

<hr />All of these commentaries are extremely good, and while they cover a lot of the same ground as the featurettes on the supplement discs, they are are never dull. However, and this is a BIG however, yet again the Region 2 disc comes up short. While the Region 1 disc allows you to listen to the commentary with either version of the film, on Region 2 the tracks are available only on the alternative cut of Aliens, and on the theatrical cuts of Alien, Alien 3 and Alien Resurrection. Maybe it's just me, but that seems really spazzy, and more than a bit annoying. If you are a fan of commentaries, consider yourself warned. <hr />

<hr />The other feature of note is a reproduction of the complete LaserDisc archive from the old Alien and Aliens releases. Everything from those discs can be found here, and will take quite some time to get through. One feature, the script to screen comparisons, is not included on the Region 2 disc. The Alien Legacy documentary, from the previous box set release, is not included on either region, due to space restrictions on the disc. We can hardly grumble, as this set contains far, far more than was ever on that documentary.<hr />

<hr />As a final note, the menu designs differ slightly between the Region 1 and 2 discs. Nothing major, and one isn't better than the other, but they are an ickle bit different. <hr />

<hr />As for which region to go for, that too is pretty clear. With both sets available for the same price, the Region 1 set offers far greater value, while the Region 2 has some annoying, and pointless, omissions. If you don't have a multi-region DVD player, then this set is the only excuse you need to go get one. So, put this on your list for Crimble, and get your letter sent to Santa. Then on Christmas Day, lock the in-laws in the cellar, and make yourself comfy. <hr />

Resumiendo. Omisiones en el pack de Z2:

- Posibilidad de escuchar los audiocomentarios en las dos versiones.

- Las indicaciones de escenas añadidas/eliminadas.

- Comparación del guión al storyboard.

Creo que es eso ¿no?

Las dos primeras considero que tampoco son para darnos contra la pared creo yo. El audiocomentario lo tenemos (otra cosa es que hubiése un segundo comentario diferente) y las indicaciones de escenas también es una putadita que no estén pero al fin y al cabo es solo una ayuda, no es material imprescindibible.

Por lo tanto, lo único que podré echar de menos es esa comparación del storyboard. Pero para que nos vamos a engañar; que los americanos tengan siempre alguna cosilla que no tengamos en Z2 no debería extrañarnos. Y en resumidas cuentas, podríamos decir que el porcentaje de coincidencias de ambas ediciones es de un 99%. Yo creo que se han pasado tres pueblos a la hora de puntuar los extras, habiendo kilos y kilos de material, no puede ser que por esos tres detalles, le pongan una A+ a la de Z1 y una B+ a la de Z2. Ésta es, como mínimo, una A bien mayúscula.

En mi opinión, tampoco es para tanto <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/smoking.gif ALT=":cigarrito">

Se mire como se mire, es una putada que aquí nos quiten cosas por la cara, cuando el pack cuesta lo mismo (incluso más). No tiene sentido, no veo razón para que hagan esto. ¿Que podía ser peor? Sí ¿que no se pierde tanto? Es verdad. Pero a mí me jode no tner audiocomentario en las escenas añadidas. Una edición que se veía perfecta no entiendo porqué tienen que ensombrecerla aquí con esas diferencias ¿Es que los americanos se merecen más? Es que no veo razón lógica para que aquí quiten extras por la cara...

Tranquilos, no vais a hechar de menos esas tres tonterias. Lo único que jode un poco es lo del audiocomentario en versión extendida. Lo demás, no me importa demasiado, las escenas nuevas debería detectarlas todo buen fan de la saga <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=":D">

Esas puntuaciones sobre los extras de Z2 son totalmente pateticas, cuando tengais el pack os dareis cuenta, no sufrais. Yo me estoy poniendo las botas <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/grin.gif ALT=":D">

Y preparaos para un nuevo pack y Alien 5 <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/lipsrsealed2.gif ALT=":picocerrado"> por que los productores tienen pensadas un par de ideas para una nueva parte, lo comentan en el DVD de extras de Resurrection. Y es que dejar el final de Resurrection tan abierto sin llegar a pisar la Tierra o jugar con una precuela les tienta mucho más que haber hecho Resurrection. Pero bueno, con AvP en proceso, esto tendrá que esperar me parece.

Sólo tienes audiocomentarios si seleccionas la version normal. Así, efectivamente, las escenas añadidas nunca las vas a ver comentadas. Sin embargo en zona1 sí. ¿Por qué? Ahhh... Creo q lo q quiere decir F Elliot, es q si el comentario es el mismo para el director's cut q para la versión cinematográfica, y cuando haya escenas nuevas nadie comente nada, o si es un comentario distinto en el q hablan durante los 150 minutos q dura dicha versión <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/thinking.gif ALT=":pensando">

Pues vaya una mierda. ¡Pero si hasta en las ediciones de "Abyss" e "Independence Day" (que tienen sus añitos) podías acceder a distintos audiocomentarios según eligieses la versión extendida o el montaje de cines!.
Honestamente, esto es una PUTADITA de las buenas. De acuerdo que siendo fan de la saga por pantalones tienes que saber cual es el metraje añadido y cual no, pero es que mi memoria no es la que era cuando era un adolescente y prefiero que cuando un colega venga a casa a ver alguna de las versiones extendidas no sea yo el que interrumpa la sesión con molestos comentarios tipo "esta escena es añadida". Para eso están los "pop ups" de las narices, para que yo no abra la boca.
Y atención, soy un fanático de los storyboards. Me encanta deleitarme en las visualizaciones primigenias de los films que adoro, así que este pack lo pediré de regalo de reyes al pariente que peor me caiga, para luego decirle "Bueeeeno, no es como la edición americana pero me apañaré" (si, soy un cabrón<img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/teufel028.gif ALT=":]:|"> ).

Segun lo veo yo
pack zona 1 = 70 dolares= 56 euros (mas extras + opciones)
Pack zona 2 = 70 euros

Deducción, otra vez con las miserillas de Zona 2, escamoteando extrillas y opciones, cosa que me fastidia, por no decir otra cosa peor, sobremanera. Lo siento pero me saca de quicio pgar mas por un producto inferior, aunque sea tan solo un 2% peor.

No se vosotros, pero yo me compro los dvd's no sólo por la película, sino un 50% por la información extra, por eso que me regateen cosas me fastidia sobremanera.

No se si habeis entendido bien el primer parrafo en inglés pero me parece que dice que en ALIEN directo's cut no sólo se pueden marcar las escenas nuevas, si no que se puede acceder a ellas como extras separados eligiendo en montaje clásico. Otra opción menos.

Aún así, la edición que llevo disfrutando desde el domingo en casa, es realmente impresionante.
