Pregunta tonta,
cuando hablaís de rebajas a que os referis? Existe un mes concreto en el que rebajan todas los DVDs? Avisan de antemano que se va a rebajar el DVD?
Perdón pero en estos temas soy algo ignorante y me interesa saber para no gastarme ahora a lo tonto. Por cierto el viernes vi en DVDgo el Padrino a 58€ y hoy aparece a 78€ podían avisar que me interesaba mucho.

Lo de no comprarla se debe a motivos económicos. Después de El Rey León EE, Matrix Reloaded, ESDLA EE y el Pack Indiana Jones, no creo que me queden cuartos para comprar Alien Quadrilogy <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/bigcry.gif ALT=":bigcry"> <img src=https://www.mundodvd.com/forum/emoticons/disappointed.gif ALT=":(("> . Cuando hablamos de rebajas, básicamente nos referimos a las del Corte Inglés, que hace un descuento del 20% al comprar dos o más dvd´s (excepto ofertas especiales) durante los períodos de rebajas clásicos, es decir, enero-febrero y julio-agosto.

No van a sacar ningún pack con ninguna frikiada, este es el mega pack insuperable y no le hacen falta frikiadas, tranquilos por eso.
Y va a haber copias para vender durante meses y meses, yo no creo que lo descataloguen en menos de 1 año.

Señores, llegó el día, por fin Fox ha hecho el anuncio oficial del pack y tenemos la lista completa de contenidos, especificaciones, etc para zona 1.
Las especificaciones para zona 2 es presumible que serán exactamente las mismas, variando los doblajes. Observad que en las especificaciones para Z1 (las q tenéis aquí abajo) aparece el audio castellano. Supongo que será neutro.
Es destacable que cada película será puesta a la venta también por separado, pero tardarán un mes mas en venderse así.

20th Century Fox Home Entertainment have finally announced the Alien Quadrilogy which will be arriving in stores this coming December. This impressive nine disc package will be arriving in shops from the 2nd December this year and should set you back around $99.98. Fox will also be releasing the films seperately, with each of these retailing at around $26.98 in total. These will not be available until the 6th January next year. The full disc specs for the full Quadrilogy package are attached below, along with another look at the official artwork. I should also point out that each of the films is THX certified:

Que no se líe la cosa, EN NINGÚN MOMENTO HE DICHO QUE VAYAN A HABER 2 EDICIONES DEL PACK, solo he puesto como ejemplo ún hipotético caso en el que sacáran 2 ediciones al estilo de ESDLA, una limitada y otra normal,en ese caso si tendrías que estar atento a que no se agotase pero nadie ha dicho que vaya a ser así y por lo tanto, de momento no lo será, así que tranquilos que van a haber copias para todos.
Supongo que habrá quedado claro...

Atención: En TheDigitalBits han tenido la oportunidad de ver los discos (Fox se lo permitió para el libro The Digital Bits: Insider's Guide to DVD) y han hecho una review de la edición de Alien. La tenéis aquí.. Es una review completísima, donde detalla todos los extras de la primera película de la trilogía. Os aviso que ahora la página va un poco lenta.

Por lo que he podido leer, parece que los discos de extras de z1 no llevan ningun tipo de subtitulo.
Para incluir los distintos montajes han optado por el método seamless branching.
Próximamente harán lo mismo con el resto de discos.

Ya podían aprender el Spielberg y el Lucas y haberse currado algo parecido con lo de Indy, que en mi opinión, muy bonitas las pelis, pero los extras son escasos (en comparación con lo que creo que deberían meter)

Quisiera preguntaros algunas dudas si sois tan amables.
-Los extras que salen en esta edicion, son los mismos que la antigua? aparte de los nuevos claro,o hay alguno que no sale?
-Las ediciones extendidas vendran doblados los minutos nuevos en castellano o solo nos pondran subtitulos? vendran integrados tipo la comunidad del anillo? o haran una chapuza como en x-men?
-Los comentarios vendran subtitulados? y los extras? por que yo por ejemplo de ingles,poquito.....
-el precio es ya seguro que seran 80 euros?
Por ultimo. Yo tengo el pack antiguo (me costo 50 euros, creo que demasiado) y me han ofrecido 35 por el y yo me quedaria con el Alien Legacy (el 5º dvd). Creeis que merece la pena venderlo? he oido que este 5º DVD no va a salir en este nuevo pack. comentadme vuestra opinion.

la review que ha sacado digital bits efectivamente pone que tiene subtitulos en español pero OJO es la edición USA que tiene tambien audio en español

A ver, la edición z1 de EEUU contiene audio en inglés y en castellano. La de Canadá cambia el audio castellano por el francés. Los subtítulos me atrevería a afirmar que son iguales en ambas, pero seguro seguro no lo se.
Por cierto, parece que el punto flojo de este pack es Alien 3, ya que no han podido contar con Fincher para documentarla (no hay entrevistas, audiocomentarios, etc con él, que es el principal creador de esta película):
<hr />Still, The Alien Quadrilogy isn't quite the perfect special edition treatment of these films that it could have been (and almost was). There is one area where this set is lacking... the documentary treatment of Alien³. You should know that of the four directors involved in these films, only David Fincher declined to participate in the Quadrilogy production. So you will not find new interviews with him about Alien³, nor will you find audio commentary with him. That's disappointing, but it's unfortunately unavoidable and certainly not unexpected, so you can't really count it against this impressive release. The one real flaw in this box set has more to do with what Fox allowed (or rather disallowed) to be included on the Alien³ supplement disc. We'll address this more later in the review.<hr />

P ej, el audiocomentario de Alien es distinto, y el antiguo no viene incluído, Tampoco viene la banda sonora en pista aislada, ... No me he parado a comparar uno por uno (no tengo el antiguo pack), pero no me extrañaría que hubiera más extras que no se han incluído aquí. Otra cosa es que en el nuevo material se incluya la información que contenía el antiguo, aunque sean distintos documentales, etc.

El cambio de doblaje se nota, pero no molesta excesivamente. Creo que han llamado a los mismos actores de doblaje, pero con unos añitos mas. Supongo que en el resto de películas harán lo mismo.

El problema no es tanto eso -que también-, porque era algo con lo que ya contaban; el verdadero problema, lo más LAMENTABLE, es que el productor del set y promotor de todo el proyecto, Charles de Lauzirika, se preocupó de entrevistar a todo el que hizo falta para, supliendo la ausencia de Fincher, documentar debidamente la tormentosa producción de ALIEN 3, pero, a última hora, los ejecutivos de Fox se echaron atrás y, en un típico ataque de pavor corporativo, purgaron la labor de Lauzirika de toda mención que consideraron incómoda.
Como único consuelo nos queda la honestidad del propio Lauzirika que, en protesta por la censura de Fox, decidió retirar su nombre (no sé si de todo el material documental o sólo del referente a ALIEN 3).
Desgraciadamente estas cosas no sorprenden a nadie, pero, lo que es a mí, cada vez me dan más asco...
