There is a scene at the end of the closing credits: Steve Rogers and Sam Wilson have Bucky Barnes in their custody, and debate on what to do. This leads into
Captain America: Civil War (2016).
In the post credits scene when Falcon asks Steve Rogers if they should call Iron Man to help repair Bucky Barnes, they exclaim that had it been a week earlier they would be able to. This is a reference to the fact that it is a week after the Hero Registration Act had been signed alluding to the next movie Captain America: Civil War. Wherein Captain America and Iron Man find themselves on opposite sides of a government bill where hero's must reveal their identities and abilities.
