Pues, como siempre, Wan coherente en todo momento. Tiene toda la razón del mundo, y es más, yo en su lugar hubiese escogido "Aquaman" también. Clarísimamente. Todo lo que supone coger un personaje (casi invisible), crear un universo totalmente nuevo, y además, ofrecer una visión personal del asunto, no tiene precio. Creo que ha escogido sabiamente y que, además, nos ofrecerá un festín. Mi entrada ya la tiene. No necesito saber más de este proyecto.

I'd imagine the whole world was one big machine. Machines never come with any extra parts, you know. They always come with the exact amount they need. So I figured, if the entire world was one big machine, I couldn't be an extra part. I had to be here for some reason.(HUGO)

Tampoco es que lleve un vestuario muy elaborado (un pantalon y defensas (hombrera y muñequera) salvo que contemos los tatuajes del cuerpo como tal jejejjejeje. Eso si se nota que ha pasado mala noche o esta recién levantado por los pelos que lleva jajaajajjajaj

Yo también creo que el traje es muy bueno, Michael Wilkinson se sale en diseño de vestuario. Han acertado usando como referencia el Aquaman de los comics de los 90, que también usó Bruce Timm en la serie de animación de la Liga

BURBANK, CA, May 3, 2017 – Principal photography has begun on Warner Bros. Pictures’ action adventure “Aquaman,” helmed by James Wan (“The Conjuring” films, “Furious 7”). Jason Momoa stars in the title role, returning to the character he plays in this fall’s “Justice League.”
The film also stars Amber Heard (“Justice League,” “Magic Mike XXL”) as Mera; Oscar nominee Willem Dafoe (“Platoon,” “Spider-Man 2”) as Vulko; Temuera Morrison (“Star Wars: Episode II – Attack of the Clones,” “Green Lantern”) as Tom Curry; Dolph Lundgren (“The Expendables” films) as Nereus; Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (upcoming “Baywatch,” Netflix’s “The Get Down”) as Black Manta; with Patrick Wilson (“The Conjuring” films, “Watchmen”) as Orm/Ocean Master; and Oscar winner Nicole Kidman (“The Hours,” “Lion”) as Atlanna.
The film is being produced by Peter Safran, with Zack Snyder, Deborah Snyder, Rob Cowan, Jon Berg and Geoff Johns serving as executive producers.
Wan’s team behind the scenes includes such frequent collaborators as Oscar-nominated director of photography Don Burgess (“The Conjuring 2,” “Forrest Gump”), his five-time editor Kirk M. Morri (“The Conjuring” films, “Furious 7,” the “Insidious” films) and production designer Bill Brzeski (“Furious 7”). They are joined by costume designer Kym Barrett (“The Matrix” trilogy; “The Amazing Spider-Man”), along with Oscar-winning VFX supervisor Charles Gibson (“Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man’s Chest,” “The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 & 2”) and VFX supervisor Kelvin McIlwain (“The Fast and the Furious” franchise).
As is fitting for the king of the sea, the shoot will take place mainly in locations spanning the stunning Gold Coast of Queensland, Australia, with extensive filming to be accomplished at Village Roadshow Studios. The production will utilize the facility’s sprawling backlot and all nine VRS soundstages, including its newest, Stage 9, the largest of its kind in the Southern Hemisphere. Filming will also take place in Newfoundland, Sicily and Tunisia.
An icon for over 75 years, Aquaman is known by fans of DC Comics as the ruler of Atlantis but committed to protecting the entire globe, both land and sea.
Currently set for a 2018 release, the film is based on characters from DC.

O que Momoa y Wilson no se hablan y se llevan mal por que Momoa Reto a Wilson a una competicion de levantar pesas y Wilson gano y apartir de ahi comienzana Discutir por todo hasta por la comida que lo ponen a cada un o el tamaño de los camerinos todo ello fomentado por James Wan.

A mi el personaje en JL me atrajo lo suficiente como para querer verla, aparte de por el director que para mi es una bestia de hacer buen cine. Aunque Arthur Curry, como dijo alguien por aquí, parezca un personaje salido de "Hijos de la Anarquía" jajaja pero la veré sin duda.

James Wan ha presentado en la CinemaCon un primer avance aún en progreso de Aquaman
En el avance se ha mostrado al Aquaman de Jason Momoa sacando un submarino del agua, una batalla submarina con gente usando tiburones como si fueran caballos, varios planos de los rascacielos atlantes, y a los villanos Black Manta (Yahya Abdul-Mateen II) y Ocean Master (Patrick Wilson)
Y con los personajes soltando varios chistes directos entre las escenas

Ni en la noticia ni en ninguna de las descripciones hablan de chistes, sino de one-liners, frases destacadas (que no tienen por qué ser cómicas). De hecho, la gran mayoría de asistentes hablan de un tono "épico", y las reacciones han sido en general muy positivas.
