Only four weeks until Halfway to Black Friday 2021 at VinegarSyndrome.com!
Before you get into the meat of this Halfway to Black Friday newsletter, point your web browser (or app) to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts and share/reply to this posting for a chance to win $25 gift certificates to the upcoming sale, with one lucky winner receiving an artist print of a rare screen printed VS poster from 2017! We'll pick some random winners on Monday.
Yes, you read that right...It's now just four weeks until our spectacular 2021 Halfway to Black Friday Sale (May 28-31)! You and your friends are probably all up to speed on our already announced lineup, but in the slim chance you forgot...
The late 90s midnight movie sensation, SIX-STRING SAMURAI, is set to be our second VSU release (following THE BEASTMASTER, which has already dipped below 800 units left in stock). If you already have our first VSU, you know exactly how killer the package is, and SIX-STRING is no different. Fitted in a beautiful, magnetized case and featuring a stunning, full color book, along with a brand new making of documentary, you'd be remiss not to add this release to your library. Speaking of which, check out our brand new promo video for the release:
As for the 'regular' VS lineup, well, we've got TWO box sets this month, the first being Volume One in an incredible, first of its kind, expanding box set (wait till you see it!) celebrating the career of Mexico's king of exploitation cinema, Rene Cardona Jr.! This first installment offers beautiful, 4K restorations of three of his gory adventure films, headlined by the shockingly gruesome TREASURE OF THE AMAZON with THE BERMUDA TRIANGLE and CYCLONE. Not to be outdone, the other box set, Televised Terror: Vol1, offers a trio of world Blu-ray premiers of made-for-TV murder thrillers, featuring: CALENDAR GIRL MURDERS (Sharon Stone terrorized by a sex killer), ARE YOU IN THE HOUSE ALONE? (Dennis Quaid), and CHILD IN THE NIGHT (Elijah Wood traumatized by a hook killer).
And of course, who can overlook the world Blu-ray premier of one of the most bonkers movies of the 80s (no kidding): SURF II. If you've never seen this stunning story of a vengeful nerd using Buzzz Cola to turn surfers into zombies well, let's just say that you're in for something 'different.' It also stars Eric Stoltz and has legally (!!) licensed Beach Boys music! Truly a shocker in every way and what's perhaps most shocking is that our edition features the never before released original director's cut (plus the theatrical version you know and love).
But oh no, that's not all...not by a long shot because...there's still two secret titles to hold out excitement for. Said Secret Titles will be revealed the moment the sale goes live. And as much as we know you're dying to learn what they are, we think they're worth the wait, especially as one of them includes some of the best prosthetic and gore work of its ilk, while the other is an eye popping, 80s cable classic.
In the midst of the excitement, don't forget that two more VSAs will be making their debuts; both psychotic 'action' films, one in the loosest sense of the word, and perhaps the most demented film we're releasing this year.
Oh, and we've also got four more Catalog Slipcovers in the works.
Venturing outside of the VS multiverse, six (!) of our Partner Labels also have fresh titles that will be revealed and up for pre-order TOMORROW (May 1) at 12:01PM, EST. It's a very diverse selection covering everything from grimy 80s action to 60s art films to contemporary sci-fi. As always, something for everyone.
If, after reading all of this, you're thinking to yourself: I shoulda become a 2021 Subscriber during Black Friday, don't worry, you still can...become a Halfway Subscriber and enjoy all of the exclusive perks and deals that make subscriber-ship the best movie watching value in the world (even better than AMC A-list). Benefits include:
• 50% off SRP on EVERY SINGLE VS release (all limited editions)
• 50% off SRP coupons for EVERY SINGLE VSA, VSU, and Peekarama release (all limited editions)
• 50% off SRP coupons for EVERY SINGLE Partner Label release (bar none)
• First out the door shipping. Subscriber orders ship before all others.

It’s now just three short weeks until this epic sale goes live, May 28-31 at VinegarSyndrome.com
Before you get into the meat of this Halfway to Black Friday newsletter, point your web browser (or app) to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts and share/reply to this posting for a chance to win $25 gift certificates to the upcoming sale, with one lucky winner receiving a plethora of OOP slipcovers! We'll pick some random winners early next week.
Time marches on, grinding every closer to the big event: Halfway to Black Friday 2021. It’s now just three short weeks until this epic sale goes live, May 28-31.
So which of our announced May slate are you most excited for? Is it SURF II, on Blu-ray for the first time and presented in both its standard theatrical version along with its unreleased, original director’s cut? Vol. 1 in our three part, expanding box set of the films of Rene Cardona Jr., featuring his gory jungle cannibal epic, TREASURE OF THE AMAZON, along with the nasty CYCLONE (in both its Spanish and English cuts), and the off the wall BERMUDA TRIANGLE? Or perhaps its Televised Terror: Vol1, offering a trio of star-studded, made-for-tv murder thrillers, CALENDAR GIRL MURDERS, ARE YOU IN THE HOUSE ALONE?, and CHILD IN THE NIGHT?
But what of our three (!?!) surprise titles? As you may remember, we’re about to unveil another world’s first in the form of a UHD two-pack. That’s two gory (and gooey) films in UHD (and Blu-ray), packaged together, totaling over three hours of explosive 4K entertainment. Plus the world Blu-ray premier of a wild sci-fi/fantasy spectacle that’s all but guaranteed to trigger pangs of late 80s cable nostalgia.
Then there’s two grimy and gritty VSAs, four new catalog slips, fresh merch, and more!
Bummed about missing out on the first half of the 2021 subscription? No problem there because the Halfway sale is the ONLY time to make up for your mistakes by subscribing to the second half of 2021.
Do you want more box sets, gialli, regional sleaze and slashers delivered monthly at 50% off SRP? You got it!
Want 50% off coupons for every single VSA, VSU, and Partner Label release that comes out between June-December of 2021? You got it!
Want assurance that you’ll never miss a VS slipcover edition for the rest of the year? You got it!
But only if you become a Halfway Subscriber...
Remember that we have six fresh Partner Label titles that are up for pre-order right now (and will start shipping BEFORE the sale):
Fun City Editions presents WALKING THE EDGE, an exceptionally mean spirited early 80s action/thriller starring Robert Forster, Nancy Kwan, and Joe Spinelli.
Altered Innocence brings you ADORATION, a beautiful, 16mm lensed coming of age film that slowly morphs into a tense physiological horror.
Brand new Partner Label Gunpowder & Sky has the stunning sci-fi thriller, PROSPECT, in a stunning 4k UHD/BD package!
AGFA presents THE LEATHER BOYS, a major work of early 60s British Cinema from acclaimed director Sidney J. Furie.
Utopia has a fascinating portrait of one of American’s unsung photographic geniuses, MARTHA: A PICTURE STORY.
And new Partner Label Circle Collective brings you the wild found-footage styled comedy, DONNY’S BAR MITZVAH.
¿serán las rebajas de todo? ¿de todo el catálogo de Vinegar?
Menuda ruina.

Only two weeks until Halfway to Black Friday 2021 at VinegarSyndrome.com!
Before you get into the meat of this Halfway to Black Friday newsletter, point your web browser (or app) to our Facebook, Twitter or Instagram accounts and share/reply to this posting for a chance to win $25 gift certificates to the upcoming sale, with one lucky winner receiving an insanely rare NIGHTBEAST model spaceship! We'll pick some random winners early next week.
Just two weeks to go and the pandemonium is starting to set in at VS headquarters as new product arrives, slipcovers are assembled, and more (another View-Master, you say?)!
In this week's PSA, we're gonna focus less on the already announced lineup, consisting of SURF II (in both its theatrical and unreleased directors cuts), The Cardona Collection Vol 1 (Featuring the gruesome TREASURE OF THE AMAZON, the nihilistic CYCLONE, in multiple cuts, and the out-there BERMUDA TRIANGLE), Televised Terror Vol 1 (Featuring Sharon Stone in CALENDAR GIRL MURDERS, Elijah Wood in CHILD IN THE NIGHT and Dennis Quaid in ARE YOU IN THE HOUSE ALONE?) and, of course, our second VSU: SIX-STRING SAMURAI, in all its blazing glory.
Instead, we wanna share our excitement over the various surprises you have to look forward to. We've already teased our duo of VS secret titles, you know, the delectably gory, first ever, UHD two pack and the whacked out, late 80s cable TV classic. But how bout the VSAs? Well, those are a doozy, with one a kitchen sink approach to vigilante justice and the other an intensely odd vanity project that will surely rank as one of the strangest things to emerge from the VSA line.
And how bout the four new catalog slips? We're excited to announce that included in this batch will be a couple of our most requested such titles...
Remember, if you've been a victim of FOMO, The Halfway Sale is your last chance to become a 2021 Subscriber and enjoy:
• Every single 2021 VS release that comes out between July-November at 50% off SRP, delivered monthly to your door!
• Guaranteed slipcover editions for every VS release that comes out during your subscription period!
• Prioritized shipping (subscribers are always first to ship, including during sales)!
• 50% off SRP coupons good ALL of the following non VS releases that come out during your subscription period: VSA, VSU, and every single Partner Label title (with more new labels coming soon)!
• As we've said many times before, it's the best deal for cinephiles on Earth! Don't miss your opportunity to subscribe.
Finally, we're introducing a new policy this June that we hope to continue every June and December. These months will now be Partner Label Only months (meaning: no new VS releases). Why? Well, logistically, combining pre-orders with sale orders has long been an extremely complex process that gets more and more difficult every year. Therefore, as a means of easing our burden and also giving the Partner Labels themselves a time to shine, we're dedicating two months out of the year specifically to them.
Normally following a big sale, our website closes down completely for about a month while the orders are shipped out. During the 'Partners Only' month of June, ordering VS titles will be disabled, BUT all Partner Label releases will be fully available and shipping!
A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE TO SUBSCRIBERS (and everyone else): We are not canceling any VS titles! You will receive just as many releases as you were promised, except the packages for later this year will simply include more releases than originally planned. So rest easy knowing that GIRLS SCHOOL SCREAMERS, a very exciting giallo double feature, several more box sets, a (perhaps?) surprising summertime UHD (of a fairly sweaty film), and much more will all be delivered, as promised.
Back at you next week with some additional hints and news.

https://www.agenciatributaria.es/AEA...ral_util.shtml
Corregidme si me equivoco.
¿qué mercado me queda?

We are aware of the new VAT rules and plan to continue shipping via FedEx as we have been. Our account is set up to take care of any customs fees that do arise, so these changes should be at no additional cost to our customers. We will get your order out as soon as we can, and please let me know if you have any other questions.
Thanks,
Evie @ VS
Spoiler:
Excelentes! A disfrutarlas!
For the entirety of the month of June we will be showcasing Partner Label releases. During this period the Vinegar Syndrome catalog will remain hidden and will return July 1st.
Con blu-ray.com se puede ver:
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/movie...leasetimestamp
The Candy Snatchers
The vineyard
https://www.imdb.com/search/title/?c...er_rating,desc
Dominique
Fade to black
The Killing Kind
https://www.blu-ray.com/movies/Olivia-Blu-ray/263912/
The 2.0 DTS-HD MA sound mix isn't created with dimension in mind, doing adequately with dialogue exchanges, which are intelligible but seldom precise, weakened by the low-budget nature of the production and age. Scoring is similar, communicating necessary moods with passable instrumentation. Sound effects are bluntly handled. This being the uncut version of the feature, a few brief sections of audio are taken from a video source.

Vinegar Syndrome Pictures - Press Release
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=X1wMt3fgOyMCita:
September 3rd, 2021 - Vinegar Syndrome Pictures / New York Ninja / Censor
Press inquires: press@vinsyn.com
Internationally acclaimed and film focused genre cinema home video distributor, Vinegar Syndrome, is proud to announce the formation of Vinegar Syndrome Pictures. VSP is a fresh sub-branding dedicated specifically to the production and distribution of carefully curated, often daring, first fun, genre-based feature films exclusively photographed on motion picture film.
VSP's initial release slate will kick off with NEW YORK NINJA, a wild action comedy originally directed by and starring John Liu, and produced by legendary New York exploitation producer Arthur Schweitzer. While NINJA was shot entirely on 35mm in 1984, the project was abandoned during production resulting in all original sound materials, scripts and treatments going missing. The rights and unedited original negative were subsequently acquired by Vinegar Syndrome, who have meticulously constructed and completed the film, enlisting the talents of genre film superstars Don "The Dragon" Wilson, Michael Berryman and Cynthia Rothrock to voice the leads. NINJA will receive its world festival premiere this Fall where it will be presented by Vinegar Syndrome's Kurtis Spieler, who spearheaded the project, with additional details on home video and digital distribution to be announced.
Following NINJA, VSP, in association with Magnolia Pictures, will present the world 4K UHD Home Video Debut of Prano Bailey-Bond's critically acclaimed, stunningly beautiful, and highly unnerving 35mm lensed psychological thriller, CENSOR, which includes stock footage from the Vinegar Syndrome vault including FROZEN SCREAM! VSP's deluxe and extra features packed UHD/Blu-ray special edition will be available for pre-order exclusively from VinegarSyndrome.com later this month, and will come housed in a limited edition rigid slipbox with newly commissioned artwork.
In addition to NEW YORK NINJA and CENSOR, VSP is preparing several additional titles for both home video as well theatrical distribution and is planning to enter pre-production on a new feature film this Winter.

Atención: La CANCEL CULTURE llega a Vinegar.
Cita:
It has come to our attention that allegations of inappropriate conduct with actors were made against John Liu concerning events that may have occurred in the 90s. While we cannot confirm the legitimacy of these claims, we can confirm that John Liu was not involved in the restoration or release of New York Ninja nor the associated making-of documentary.

LA Plays Itself: The Fred Halsted Collection
Description: Fred Halsted was a legend in his own time. His self-created public persona—that of the leather-clad sadist—instantly made him both feared and revered as one of the first openly gay sex symbols. And his taboo-shattering films broke new ground in the gay erotic cinema for their portrayal of sadomasochism and other forms of polymorphous perversity. These works sent a shockwave throughout the fledgling gay liberation movement and the art establishment alike, leading to their eventual acquisition by the Museum of Modern Art. But despite their significant cultural importance, these films have long been available only in neutered form, if at all. Altered Innocence and Anus Films are proud to present the first-ever uncut disc release of these groundbreaking and fiercely controversial films, beautifully restored by MoMA and with a host of new bonus features, including Halsted's formerly-lost second feature, Truck It.
Special Features and Technical Specs:
Audio commentaries on L.A. Plays Itself and Sextool by Evan Purchell, K.J. Shepherd, and Tyler Thomas of Ask Any Buddy
Audio commentary on The Sex Garage by Evan Purchell of Ask Any Buddy
Bonus film: Truck It: 8mm Loops & VHS rip
Video interview with Halsted Plays Himself author William E. Jones
Sanitizing Halsted - a video essay by Whitney Strub
Crossing Over: Sextool - a video essay by Caden Mark Gardner
L.A. Plays Itself original ending
