Tema: Siguiendo mi camino (Going My Way, 1944, Leo McCarey) y secuela

En EEUU se lanza la película SIGUIENDO MI CAMINO de 1944. Se da la curiosidad de que la secuela sí se editó previamente en Blu-ray y de hecho está también editada en España: LAS CAMPANAS DE SANTA MARÍA.

Shout Factory has announced that it will celebrate the 75th anniversary of Leo McCarey's film Going My Way (1944) with a brand new Blu-ray release, which will be available for purchase on September 24th.

Technical specs and supplemental features to be included on this upcoming release have not yet been revealed by the label.

Synopsis:: A winner of seven Academy Awards*, the irresistible Going My Way lights up the screen as beautifully as it warms up the heart. Bing Crosby shines as Father O'Malley, a young priest new to an established but financially troubled parish. When his philosophies conflict with those of the curmudgeonly Father Fitzgibbon (Barry Fitzgerald), the unflappable Father O'Malley perseveres — eventually winning over his gruff superior and the parish with his fresh, inspirational approach.

Massively successful with critics, at the box office, and on the record charts (thanks in no small part to the timeless tune "Swinging On A Star"), Going My Way is an undeniable Hollywood classic.

No veo nada relevante así que iré a por la edición española, para apoyar nuestro mercado. Si me gustase mucho la película y quisiera más detalles, pues "double dip".

Siguiendo la base de datos de eldoblaje.com, las voces se corresponderían con el del DVD 2004. Aunque no es el clásico, me parece un doblaje muy decente. En las canciones salta la V.O. con subtítulos en castellano de color amarillo.

En cuanto a la imagen, más bien deslucida. El repro marca codec AVC y bitrate en torno a los 27 Mbps, formato 1.37, pero se trata de un master antiguo con pinta de haber sido restaurado hace ya bastantes años.

Nitidez mediocre, contraste regulero y negros poco profundos. Imperfecciones esporádicas (motas blancas, arañazos), grano presente pero no de elevada calidad, y leve inestabilidad en momentos muy puntuales. No percibo rastro de artefactos digitales.

En conclusión, imagen correcta para mi tele de 42", pero un salto a la HD poco destacable. Os dejo el tema audio:

No se molestan en buscar el doblaje original, no me molesto en darles mi dinero.

A mi con la edición en dvd me basta y me sobra, no creo que se merezca mas, me parece una película sobrevalorada.
