Parece ser que en la Comic Con empezaron a hablar sobre el lanzamiento de la serie Twin Peaks en bluray, además de incluir la película Fuego Camina Conmigo y apuntan los últimos rumores que tendrá 50 horas de escenas eliminadas.

Speaking of which, work on Twin Peaks: The Complete Series on Blu-ray is also well under way at CBS, with a release expected in time for the end of the year or early next. Multiple sources tell us that a deal has been made to allow the inclusion of David Lynch’s Fire Walk with Me film in the package, so fan will at long last be treated to a truly complete set.

Estamos hablando de dos bestias distintas, aunque estén relacionadas. Es lo mismo que si para hablar de Miami Vice empleásemos el mismo hilo para serie y película.

The DVD release of Twin Peaks was a damn fine set and the discs were an incredible improvement over the awful VHS releases that preceded them, but the Blu-ray set could be another leap forward in terms of quality.

The HD masters were created, I believe, for the DVD releases and I understand that these were what was also then used for the Netflix library and the “1080p” versions on iTunes. The Blu-ray versions will presumably use these existing transfers which certainly seem to be of a high standard.

yo la terminé hace poquito y tengo que decir que el fin, aunque muchos no concuerdan conmigo, es de lo mejorcito que le vi.

Tengo la edición oro esa en dvd y pensaba que se veía bien hasta que empezaron los últimos capítulos y se empezó a ver mal no sé porqué. No aparecían colores a veces y luego cuando cambiaba de escena salían retazos de la anterior...... lo dicho, un tormento.

Espero que subsanen estos problemas para el bd.

Supongo que debe ser cosa del DVD. En mi edición los 5 últimos minutos y 5 primeros del 2x01 y 2x02 respectivamente se me entrecorta y salta el disco. Pérdida de color nunca.

Me tomo la licencia de emplazaros al post que tengo enlazado en la firma para hablar de la serie. Dado que será habitual tocar algunos temas. Y así le damos vida, y puntos de vista nuevos...

Rumors (quite near to be official) are talking about the BLU RAY release of Twin Peaks including 45 minutes of never before seen scenes from "Fire walk with me".

Date is supposed to be 25th march 2014 (25th anniversary of Laura's prediction).
