segun dice uno de los que controla el oppo (neuromancer de avs):

The DVD79 Doesn't support SACD because it is basically an OPPO OPDV971H in a different shell. For this reason, the MTK chipset being used does not support SACD.

However, future products, such as the one DVD89 will support SACD, because they are using a different MTK chipset that will also do upconverting as well.

usea, es el 79 el clonico del oppo 971 y el 89 no lo es.... aunque indica podria ser un clon del nuevo oppo 970 con el chip MTK 1389C (Revision 3) y sin faroudja (el mediatek puede escalar pero eso ya es si lo habilitan, en el 970 parece ser que no lo haran), el del oppo es el revisión 2 + faroudja.

usea, que para escalar mejor el 79 que el 89, o para que copias?, un 971 original
