In 1995, Tsukamoto finished "Tokyo Fist", which again received International acclaim, including an award at Sundance. He is currently working on a number of short films, but has larger visions for a move into Hollywood.<hr></blockquote>

Ya he visto the eye, es impresionante, aunque la mayoría de los sustos sean al principio, pero la película se mantiene a un buen nivel hasta el final. Es un tipo de terror más cercano a los sustos que al terror psicológico de The ring, pero joder que sustos!! me he cagado de miedo viéndola, totalmente recomendable.

Luego miro de Diabolik y dicen que está en NTSC en región 0.

¿Es un error y es la misma edición?
¿En qué se diferencian?

Aparte: ¿Qué habeis visto de Tsukamoto y qué tal están las ediciones que hay por ahí.

Y también me interesaría que alguien me comentara qué tal está 'The Blade' the Tsui Hark.

The Blade es un clásico del cine de espadas, totalmente imprescindible. Su lucha final es de antología del cine de Hong-Kong. Tsui Hark renovó completamente el genero de espadas con esta película como anteriormente lo hizo con el de artes marciales con Érase una vez en China... Lo dicho, fundamental.

La he estado buscando y nada.

Pues a decir verdad nunca he visto el dvd en ninguna página hongkonesa [yo tengo el vcd...]. Sin embargo, existe una edición inglesa. En play.com, la tenían pero está fuera de stock, no se si amazon.co.uk o alguna otra de estas tendrá algo... Es una edición de Hong Kong Classics.

Totalmente de acuerdo... Viendo las ediciones francesas, aconsejaría fervientemente aprender ese idioma. Por lo pronto yo ya me he pedido The mission, de Johnnie To, un policiaco que renueva el género y que me parece muy bueno, excelente, Brother [con extras de verdad, no como la edición de aquí] y tres películas de Hou Hsiao-Hsien.

Una pregunta sobre importaciones. ¿A alguien le ha ocurrido alguna vez de haber tenido que pagar derechos de aduana por un pedido a Hong Kong? Tengo la sensación de que uno que hice un poco amplio, de ocho dvd's, debe estar en sus manos, porque está pasando demasiado tiempo [es vía Fedex]. ¿Sabeis en que modifica eso el envío, que pasos hay que dar [si es que hay que dar alguno...]?

Prácticamente he visto la filmografía completa de este autor, gracias a que en los últimos meses han puesto un ciclo suyo en el Canal + francés. <img src=http://www.ezboard.com/intl/aenglish/images/emoticons/eek.gif ALT=":eek">

En los inicios de Manga Films en España, estos publicaron en VHS Tetsuo y Tetsuo II, body hammer, mientras que el resto de su filomografía ni se ha publicado, ni se ha visto por estos lares.

En cambio en Francia, le han dedicado recientemente una colección con toda su obra en DVD, que tiene muy buena pinta.







Van repletos de extras, pero sólo con el subtitulado francés.

The syndicate boss making an entrance when the Anjo Clan was in the room where their boss disappeared is missing (I can't find a good reason why they cut the scene except for time constraint).
Suzuki's torture session (The shots of his hooked back are gone. After 1st insertion of needle, it cuts Kakihara slowly making twisting motions with the needle in cheek. The 2nd needle assertion is missing the shot of the needle slowly piercing through his mouth and the removal of the 2nd needle that is followed by pints of blood. The boiling water scalding Suzuki's back and face are completely gone. Kakihara threatening to pierce Suzuki's penis is missing as well.)
The upclose shot of Kakihara cutting his tongue.
The other four fingers which Kakihara breaks on the heroin dealer.
The upclose shot of Inoue's severed face is gone.
When Ichi cuts the woman beater in half, the scene of his guts falling out is gone, but you can still hear the sound effects of it.
All three victims who pops a massive blood fountain blasts from the neck are cut by at least 7-8 seconds each (Each one you can only see for about half a second now, excluding Kaneko's).
Jijii slapping sense into Ichi when Ichi declares that he wanted to rape Tachibana instead of save her.
Exchange between Karen and Kakihara during the face pulling with a shot of the bar owner screaming is compeltely gone.
The face slowly oozing down the wall is cut by 2 or 3 seconds.
Kakihara walking through the office of corpses and picking up some large intestines to show Kaneko.
Kaneko's encounter with Ichi and the whole ramen noodle scene with the flashbacks is completely gone (Kaneko's character development is put to 0 in this version!)
The infamous nipple cut torture scene is buhbye as well as some following shots (including Jiro slamming the razor on the table in fury).
The exchange between Takayama and Kaneko outside the room during the torture session.
Kaneko kicking Miyu Miyu to death.
The shot of Long's pierced face is gone.
Jiro's funny attempt to recreate Takayama's death on Long.

And there you have the list of what ended up being ruthlessly cut in the Hong Kong version<hr></blockquote>

Bueno, Krycek, supongo que ya les habrás recomendado las pelis del Takashi Miike, no? Es que el megapost es mu largo y da palo leerlo entero...y si no lo has hecho, os las recomiendo yo!! xDD

Por cierto, fui a ver Battle Royale al cine, y no está mal, aunque podria haver sido mejor (me refiero al doblaje, of course, la peli es cojonuda!!). Cometen un fallo mu gordo al no subtitular una parrafada de texto que sale en japo y no se entiende nada, pero bueno, podria ser peor :P

A ver...yo soy amigo de Krycek, y en principio, no habría problema para conseguir un sitio para hacerla, ya que un colega mío lleva un casal y nos deja sala. Tendríamos que llevar nosotros el reproductor (sea DVD, PC con salida de video o lo que sea), y allí hay una tele.

La cosa seria hacer una lista con toda la gente interesada en venir, y empezar a quedar en algo concreto. También habíamos comentado con Krycek la idea de hacerlo como algo más o menos fijo, o sea, quedar cada cierto tiempo (1 vez al mes, por ejemplo), para montar pases de pelis y pasar unos ratos guays....

Nuse, a ver que os parece...se podria crear un topic nuevo para quedar con la gente más o menos.

Tu problema puede ser Fedex. Quizás si que te esté pasando aduana.

Yo he recibido paquetes de 8 títulos y nunca ha pasado aduana, pero "Correo Aereo".
