Vista. Y me gusto, aunque creo que tenia el Hype muy alto y eso jugo en contra. Aun asi me pareció una digna secuela o spin off o lo que sea. Para mi estuvo todo bien.

Por cierto... no puedo dejar de pensar y no recuerdo... cuando Rocky, Adonis y la novia están en el sillón de la casa del primero mirando la tele... hay una escena de una película, que cae como un tren o subte sobre lo que parece ser el interior de una alcantarilla... no recuerdo de que película es y me esta matando... alguien la tiene??? Si es asi me lo cuenta? Porque necesito volver a dormir...

En la escena en que se quedan dormidos en el sofá están viendo James Bond Skyfall, lo escuché en un podcast.

Ya puedes dormir a gusto

La vi en su estreno y me ha gustado bastante. No soy fan acerrima de la saga y no recuerdo muy bien los eventos de las anteriores pero creo que como reseteo de la saga es muy buena y te deja con ganas de mas. Creo que ha Stallone le van a dar el Oscar, el halo de nostalgia y su papel en esta pelicula me inclinan a pensar que en una categoria sin claros favoritos, se va a llevar la palma. Lo que me da pena es que Michael B. Jordan haya sido ninguneado en las nominaciones, el si se merecia aunque fuera el reconocimiento de la nominacion. En cuanto a la pelicula lo dicho, no es un mal reseteo de la saga. Es entretenida y dinamica y la historia del legado cumple a la perfeccion. Le doy un 7,5.

Sin ser super fan de la saga ni tenerla reciente en la memoria, he disfrutado con "Creed". Pese a los clichés y bajones / in crescendos de una estructura típica del género, muy entretenida y bien realizada, con especial atención a sus actuaciones y a la escenografía de las peleas, con algún plano secuencia realmente molón.

La dejé pasar en cines y llevaba bastante tiempo con ganas de verla, tanto que hasta me "preparé" los dos días anteriores revisando ROCKY –y confirmando que es una peli cojonuda de un cine que ya no se hace– y ROCKY BALBOA –que me parece un "broche" bastante apropiado y honesto para la saga, sólo lastrado por la medianía de Stallone detrás de la cámara– y...

Qué bajón.

I kew I shouldn't have believed the hype.


I was trying to like this for quite a while, I was trying pretty hard, I swear I was... But then that running with the motorbikes happened, and I couldn't keep fooling myself.


I would say this is a bad movie but that wouldn't be fair, or at least not accurate, because this is not even a movie, not in the true sense. This is just product. This is just image and sound to bring teenagers to the multiplex and get their pop corn & soda money in the most dishonest way. There's no story here, just the most basic thread so spectators have something to follow, sprinkled with a few "emotional" beats here and there for them to react to, to get "invested". But the people behind this have no story to tell, they just want to reboot the Rocky saga into some "modern" franchise, and maybe they succeeded at that, I don't know. Things happen and words are said (mostly LifetimeTV-level, self-help psychobabble to show us their supposed "inner conflict", some wound that needs to be healed), but not in any organic way, they don't really follow any build-up, they are no consequence of any previous events, they just happen when they are convenient to advance the plot as required.


At one point, there is an argument between Rocky and Adonis that comes completely out of nowhere and it's so contrived that it's ironic: Adonis gets mad at Rocky because he doesn't feel like family to him. Well, d'uh! Maybe that's because you are NOT family, and nothing in the movie so far has shown us any building relationship that could prove otherwise. We are given no real reason for these characters to come together and care for each other, other than some bullshit "legacy"; a legacy that only comes from this being a multi-movie saga, a legacy that only exists, and hardly, for the spectators, not for the characters.


The only true "legacy" here is of the money-grabbing kind.

Un 4/10 por el oficio de Coogler en algunas secuencias y, sobre todo, por la interpretación de Stallone, que me parece que está bastante bien (lástima que en los Oscars le tocara enfrentarse a un Mark Rylance en estado de gracia).
