Leyendo la sinopsis parece que Cronenberg recupera elementos/personajes de su guión Painkillers, ese que dijo que no rodó porque le daba miedo lo que había escrito

Igualmente parece que tomará elementos de su mediometraje Crimes of the future que, efectivemnte, ya tiene medio siglo
Personalmente, que Cronenberg filme lo que quiera, que lo veré. Además con ese reparto que está juntando.

Me gusta e inquieta lo visto en el trailer.
Eso sí, me parece que, por lo menos por lo visto ahora, noto un poco el cambio en la fotografía. Aquí no está Peter Suschitzky y de la fotografía se encarga Douglas Koch.

Como se indica, tiene spoilers, pero exactamente no se sabe si se les puede llamar spoilers, desde el momento en que no se ha hecho la película.
De todos modos, sí que parece que la actual película es una evolución de aquel proyecto, pero no podemos saber cuanto ha recuperado hasta que se estrene.
