AVR-4810CI Audio/Video Receiver (SRP: $2,999), a next-generation 9.3 channel multi-zone A/V receiver that offers high-quality distribution of audio and video throughout the home*. Along with many of today's most advanced surround sound and distribution capabilities, the AVR-4810CI includes 6 HDMI inputs/2 outputs, all certified for HDMI 1.3a. It includes support for Dolby Pro Logic IIz, featuring Front Height Effects Channels, as well as Dolby TrueHD/ DTS-HD Master audio support for decoding the multi-channel recordings featured on Blu-ray and HD-DVD discs. It also features a built-in HDCD decoder, as well as a wide variety of performance and convenience features, including Vertical Stretch (2.35:1 CinemaScope) Mode, and a Video Control Adjustments Memory by input feature. Analog Video Conversion with Scaling to 1080p/24 uses advanced Anchor Bay Technologies (ABT) video processing and scaling.

Among the AVR-4810CI's leading-edge features and capabilities is the inclusion of Audyssey DSX with front height and/or expanded width channels. This advancement allows for a dramatic enhancement of the listener's 5.1- or 7.1-channel surround experience, adding a vertical component to the horizontal soundfield and/or widening the image field to recreate a more realistic movie theater-like experience. The enhanced spatial audio effect provides added presence and depth while maintaining the integrity of the source mix and ensuring audio is always appropriate to the source material.

Advanced Whole-Home Networking
The AVR-4810CI also includes a host of 21st century networking capabilities, joining other leading-edge products in Denon's line to feature both Ethernet and Wi-Fi connectivity (Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g certified) for control and digital media steaming. In order to provide users with even more flexibility and convenience, second zone video output is available via component with onscreen display for meta-data from iPod®/XM/HD Radio/Streaming Audio, providing a second zone within a home to experience high-definition video signals, audio and meta-data from connected devices. Two discrete AM/FM tuners, one featuring HD Radio, as well as Sirius and XM readiness provide for multi-zone distribution. The AVR-4810CI also features Rhapsody and Napster streaming audio via Internet without the necessity of a connected PC. It provides audio and video processing capabilities for three independent home entertainment zones, plus connectivity and control of Apple iPods that can be streamed to any of these zones. The height of "future-readiness," the AVR-4810CI even features a special "Party Mode" multi-zone network streaming management system for use with the ASD-51N/W Network Server/Dock. Notably, thanks to its preout connections for another set of channels for Audyssey DSX, the AVR-4810CI is in actuality a 4-zone AVR with 11.3-channel capabilities.

Custom Installation-Friendly Features
In addition to built-in Wi-Fi and Ethernet, the AVR-4810CI includes a host of features geared toward custom integrators, including easy system setup and maintenance from a remote location. This allows custom integrators to diagnose and even fix a customer's problem from their office and not waste time traveling to a customer's home. Once the unit is installed, the integrator can simply log on via secure website hosted by Denon and correct or restore settings that may have accidentally changed. Additionally, it allows users to stream and listen to music stored on a Windows PC, Mac and media server products or NAS devices supporting the DLNA standard.

For total ease and accuracy of set-up, the unit features Audyssey MultEQ XT Auto Setup and Calibration, along with the ability to use the advanced Audyssey Pro installer package, which measures ideal sonic performance in up to 32 different positions. This allows installers to define the ultimate sound quality for virtually any size or shape room.

Like all Denon receivers, the AVR-4810CI includes Audyssey Dynamic Volume, a volume leveling technology that frees listeners from the disruptive changes in volume levels when broadcast material changes between television shows and commercials or even while watching a movie. Coupled with Audyssey Dynamic Volume is Audyssey Dynamic EQ, a loudness correction technology that enhances the overall entertainment experience even further. Audyssey Dynamic EQ solves the problem of deteriorating sound quality of movies and music as volume is decreased. By selecting the correct frequency response and surround volume levels moment-by-moment, Dynamic EQ lets users enjoy the full palette of original rich sound at any volume.

Denon, one of the world’s premier manufacturers of high-quality home entertainment components, has announced its ultimate home cinema receiver, the AVR-4810. With nine on-board amplifier channels, each rated at a robust 180 watts, the AVR-4810 is equipped with the latest high resolution audio decoders including Dolby TrueHD and dts-HD Master Audio, and also features Dolby Pro Logic IIz and Audyssey DSX, delivering additional front height and/or front wide channels. Most remarkably, it is the first Denon to support the full Audyssey DSX setup through its 11.3 channel outputs. To deliver the most detailed High Definition video, any signal, analogue or digital, can be upscaled to 1080p HDMI output via the built-in Anchor Bay advanced VRS processor.
The AVR-4810 will be available in October at a suggested retail price of £2,799.99. Colour variations include premium silver and black to perfectly match the latest Denon Blu-ray line-up.
Audio section
The multi-mono block amp construction ensures top audio fidelity, and the Free Assign amp configuration function allows maximum system configuration flexibility. Delivering the most detailed High Definition sound possible from a Blu-ray Disc, the new AVR-4810 supports the outstanding fourth generation Denon Link technology for a jitter-free audio transmission via HDMI. The additional Clock Jitter Reducer further looks after the best audio quality for all other digital sources without Denon Link 4th capability to maximize the listening experience expected from a Denon heavyweight. The highly acclaimed D.D.S.C.-HD circuit now features three 32-bit floating point high precision DSP processors and Denon’s Advanced AL24 Processing Multi Channel to provide more spatial sound and dynamic range. Denon’s new AVR- 4810 further accommodates the flagship Audyssey package including MultEQ XT, Dynamic Volume and Dynamic EQ.
Video section
Besides six HDMI inputs (one at the front) and two simultaneously running HDMI outputs, the video section offers Denon’s High Picture Quality Circuitry and Digital Noise Reduction for maximum home entertainment quality. The HDMI 1.3a ports support Deep Color, x.v.Color and Auto LipSync. A high resolution 12bit/10bit scaler from Anchor Bay Technologies face-lifts even bad standard definition sources to a high quality 1080p image. The AVR-4810 furthermore supports vertical stretch to display movie content in original CinemaScope aspect ratio (anamorphic lens required).
Audyssey DSX
The world’s first appearance of Audyssey DSX caused quite a stir. It extends 5.1- and 7.1-channel sound sources to a wider and higher dimension considering the human perception that is usually focussed on the front. A more spacious sound is achieved through a pair of wide speakers placed wider than the usual front speakers, and a greater sense of height in sound is achieved by adding two height speakers above the front. The Denon AVR-4810 is the first to support a full DSX setup by delivering 11 channels to power a 7.1 system plus two height and two front wide speakers (additional 2ch amplifier provided). A whole new listening experience for home theatre enthusiasts.
Advanced Connectivity
The AVR-4810 features network connectivity including Wi-Fi for Internet radio or audio and photo streaming, front and back USB ports with iPod/iPhone Digital Direct (digital audio transfer) as well as Multi-Room support. Everything can easily be handled by the newly developed advanced graphical user interface (GUI). Just like the smaller brother, AVR-4310, the new AVR-4810 comes with full support for Napster music services (subscription required). If further offers Denon’s new Party Mode function to have your favourite network music played simultaneously on each compatible device in your house. Additional iPod dock
For users who want to upgrade their existing home entertainment system with iPod and network features, Denon also offers two new iPod dock models. The ASD-51N and ASD-51W add exciting new features to the users’ own solutions including stereo components, AV Receivers or mini systems. Both models, ASD-51N via LAN, ASD-51W via WLAN or LAN, are allowing the user to stream audio files, pictures, Internet radio stations and more through the connected device. ¡¡2800 libras!! casi 3100€... pero que bonito que es el condenado :bigcry feos de narices tendrían que hacerlos para que no se nos caiga "la babilla" :bigcry

he visto que en ebay usa los precios de este tipo de aparato son mucho más razonables que aquí, la duda que tengo es si tienen compatibilidad en corriente con europa, es decir, sí son 240 v. Alguién sabe algo?

Es el sustituto de mi Av 4308,del cual ,por cierto estoy encantado.

Por cierto,muy pocas variaciones le veo con respecto al mío. Ni el precio..un poco más caro incluso
Creo que es una operación de marketing y poca cosa más

No creo que haya muchas diferencias, el Denon AVR-4310 BL está a 1700€ puesto en casa en Redcoon.

Pues si hablas de aparatos comprados en Estados Unidos me temo que no, no tienen votaje universal y no son compatibles con la corriente europea salvo que compres un transformador, no pasa así con los productos de Hong Kong que si usan voltaje europeo.

Y diferencias con el 4310 si tiene algunas, al margen de que tenga mas potencia, mas canales y una 4º zona (claro puesto que tiene mas canales), tiene terminales bañados en oro y terminales de altavoces de mayor calidad wbt.

Y cosas asi que puedan ser de mas interes, pues tiene conexion WIFI como el 4308, los DSP son el modelo superior SHARC ADSP-21367 y tiene un DSP más, con lo que añade a la correccion de salas el modo Advanced Low Frequency Connection (ALFC), signifique lo que signifique esto.

Aunque francamente esas diferencias dificilmente creo que justifiquen la enorme diferencia de precio entre los dos.

Pues hombre no son pocas. Pensé que fueran menos.

No obstante el chasis parece el mismo. Las conexiones una vez conectadas no aportan nada al sonido y no sé si los canales de más que tiene el "grande" son explotables en una misma sala. No conozco a nadie que use 4 zonas cableadas desde un mismo aparato... (ni dos tampoco) pero en fin, ahí están.

El wifi es más que probable que lo integre la fuente a la que lo conectes, así que sólo queda los Dsps que yo jamás los he usado y no les veo uso ninguno* salvo el primer día para ver como suenan...


* A no ser que a alguna marca (Dolby oir ej.) se le ocurra como "llamar" o "invocar" desde la fuente, a los distintos dsps de que disponga el ampli durante el transcurso de la peli y así recree mejor una escena.

En navidades me voy a usa y puedo aprovechar para hacer mi inversión en un ampli allí, salen bastante más baratos que los precios que he visto aquí.

Yo tengo el 4308,Y POR SUPUESTO QUE ES RECOMENDBLE

Estoy tremandamente contento con él y ni se me pasa por la cabeza sustituirlo

Hola soy nuevo en el foro aunque lo sigo hace más de un año.
Tengo la duda entre el nuevo denon 4310 y 4308 vA que tiene el amigo Stersa. Tengo que decir que lo que más me gusta del 4308 vA es el precio de derribo actual y en contra no me gusta mucho el chip de reescalado que trae el Faroudja, en cambio el 4310 tiene un Archor Bay de nueva ornada. A por cual iriais vosotros. Tambien he leido en el foro que el sucesor del 4308 es el 4810 y no el 4310.
Es muy superior es 4308 al nuevo 4310???

Que os comprariais entre 1500 y 2000 euros. si me gasta mas la WAT me mata.
