Muchas Gracias. Saludos.

Hello, my name is -identificación omitida-. I live in Spain.
Appeal to you because I have a problem with my Ellion HMR-700A:
1 .- I bought my Ellion HMR-700A-2008 in July with 500GB disk.
2 .- After two months of television recording is THE GREATEST FAILURE whereby, upon entering the menu "view, edit, rename, delete, etc. ..", does not appear that any of the files I have recorded the TV (he had 106 files in the UDF and after about 46 files to FAT32).
All the TV screen showed me green without any data files or information on Mb or Gb free to continue recording in SP, LP, etc. Nothing at all.
That is, nothing sticks in your UDF partition was visible and accessible in my Ellion HMR-700 A. In my computer, Windows XP, you can not access the UDF partition, only the NTFS and FAT32.
When I tried to record a new TV program does not allow it, just automatically restarts and nothing else. This thought that the files were not deleted but were on the disc but did not have access to them, possibly a problem of initial factory firmware.
3 .- To keep the files, I bought another hard drive internal 1000GB (1TB). The formatting in three partitions and before two months (about 60 files in the UDF and 50 in the FAST32) I returned to spend the same as described in Section 2.
4 .- buy another internal hard drive 1000GB (1TB) and upgraded the firmware to version A259AP_S1001_080722a. Formatting only FAT32 partitions assigned to 700GB and the rest for the UDF. The NTFS partition is set to 0% of GB, we never use it.
After another month (36 files in the UDF and 28 files on FAT32) I returned to spend the same. I upgraded the firmware to the latest version A328AP_S1001_090316a, and has not solved anything.
And now I refuse to buy more hard drives internally, because you will spend the same. I mean I have to get deep into the solution to this problem or not using the most Ellion HMR-700A. I'm tired of surfing the internet looking for this solution and I can not find anything to repair the problem.
May I also add that the disks are not damaged or broken, because the computer I have full access to NTFS and FAT32 partitions on each disk and are listed and have access to all your files. The problem is only with the partition or file system UDF.
I just think that the problem must be the firmware, not hardware (because the Ellion HMR-700A physically works perfect, just fails to work and manipulate the files).
Prior to this chaos that happens, it starts to bug me for the following types:
A) schedule a recording of hours and thirty minutes from Monday to Friday and some days I just recorded an hour and fifteen or twenty minutes, as determined by him.
B) In the edit menu starts to split files to not forget, only to remove an interval between initial and final mark.
C) The final (one piece about 10 minutes) of each file is recorded, it automatically cuts the file and I put it at the beginning of the next file. If I have 60 files in total, this makes me all. So I mix everything recorded in the UDF with the problem, also not allowing me to cut that piece of 10 minutes to tie it back to your previous source.
D) Sometimes I des-set the date and time at will.
E) a few other things, until the day that making a cut of ads (to cut the interval AB) in the Edit menu, I get stuck in a moment ... "
I have to wait until the next day, about 20 hours, and remained in "a time ...". Not having to reset button, I had to turn off the button outage, and when you turn it on again, there is nothing to do: I find the display of empty files and information, and chaos will continue.
If you do not turn off the light, what else could do, wait a month to see every day Ellion HMR-700A lost in his message of "a moment ..." able to operate without him?.
So me has happened in all three cases. I therefore consider that the problem must be the firmware begins to fail until you crack.
I have contacted others who use the same Ellion HMR-700A, and this problem does not happen. So I wonder why the other Ellion HMR-700A is not true that using the same firmware?.
Please try to help solve this problem that has me tired and desperate.
Thank you very much. Greetings.

Saludos.
