Seguramente Martin Scorsese tiene por contrato entregar un montaje menor a tres horas, y es lo que ha hecho.

En el último Festival de San Sebastián asistí a una charla de Oliver Stone y explicó, en referencia a su 'Alejandro Magno', que la productora le exigió por contrato un montaje menor a las tres horas, que es lo que al final entregó (175 minutos), y por ello ahora se ha dedicado a realizar los montajes nuevos que han sido publicados.

Son la gente que conforma los sindicatos en sus distintas ramas: actores, directores, guionistas...y los que votan en los premios que entregan sus respectivos gremios. Además, que muchos de ellos después tienen el doble "trabajo" de votar también en los premios de la Academia. En una palabra, estamos ya en el momento de comerle la oreja al que decide.

Es posible que con sus dos horas y 59 minutos, "El lobo de Wall Street", de Martin Scorsese, sea la película más larga del año. Pero pese a ello el cineasta se ha visto obligado a recortar algunas escenas sexuales para evitar la temida clasificación de prohibida a menores de 17 años.

Según informa "The Hollywood Reporter", esa es la clasificación que habría recibido debido a sus abundantes escenas de sexo explícito y drogas. Y esto habría lastrado su carrera comercial en los cines en el inicio de la temporada de los Oscar.
