Peter Travers es un veterano crítico de Rolling Stones. Es de los que más respeto me merecen. Y es verdad. En esa lista hay variedad pero siempre con la calidad por delante.

Me uno a la felicitación hacia horner. Me encanta la pasión que se desprende, causante de mucho hype, si cabe, entre los que pululamos por estos benditos parajes. :D
Es curiosa la crítica que enlaza o vincula a American Hustle y a The wolf of WS. Parece que Russell cada vez más, se parece al Scorsese de sus mejores tiempos. Y Marty parece más disparatado que nunca.
Creo que estamos ante dos de las propuestas más interesantes de la temporada , por eso mismo: no tomarse demasiado en serio ninguna de ellas.

The Wolf of Wall Street 2013 ★★★★½
I'm already clamoring for the original four-hour cut. The three we're treated to are brilliant, uproariously funny and positively decadent. Scorsese exploits the madness and amorality for all it's worth, reminding us truth is stranger — and seemingly filthier — than fiction.
Everything hinges on Leonardo DiCaprio's fearless, career best performance. Crafting a character so utterly charismatic and alluring, he continually fools the audience into thinking he's growing and changing or is just slick enough to get away with anything. His arc may be bleak, but it skillfully, compellingly captures the mindset required to believe that greed and ruthless ambition conquer all. At the very least, this year's Academy Award for Best Actor race has a savior. DiCaprio and Jonah Hill's extraordinary quaalude scene is the stuff Oscar clips are made of.

Es lo minimo que puedo hacer, tras ver la actividad incesante de noticias y aportaciones diarias que mueve una comunidad como esta.
Realmente, y aunque suene cursi y pelota, no existe revista con informacion mas completa y actualizada, ademas de continuas opiniones y puntos de vista sobre peliculas, que lo que mueve este foro.
Sigo comprando revistas de cine mensualmente.....pero apenas las leo, mas bien las ojeo.:lol

Yo ya ni las compro. Hace años casi todos los meses caía una o las dos (Fotogramas y/o Cinemanía. Muchos años atrás picaba con Acción, y una vez he comprado Imágenes y otra, no hace mucho, Dirigido por, que me gustó mucho la verdad). Hoy en día con el foro vamos más que servidos (y mucho mejor en cuanto a cantidad de noticias, sean verdad o no, y en cuanto a fotos).
