El megapost de las canciones: pon la tuya.

Pues viendo el post de las canciones tristes se me ha ocurrido abrir este post en el que la gente puede poner sus letras de canciones favoritas o las que le recuerdan algo especial o las que le apetece poner segun sus sentimientos en ese momento o para expresar o recordar algo, etc, etc.

Yo empiezo con esta , una de mis favoritas de todos los tiempos. La compuso mi idolo musical John Lennon, y es una cancion que siempre nos hace reflexionar sobre la humanidad y sus vicios y virtudes y sobre ese mundo perfecto que todos hemos imaginado en nuestros sueños pero que nunca saldra de ellos, porque somos eso, seres humanos con muchismos defectos. Pero gracias a John por haber imaginado alguna vez un mundo y una vida mejor:

Pues una de mis favoritas es Vincent, de Don MacLean (el de American Pie, es que no me acuerdo si se escribía así), dedicada, claro a VanGogh. Es pura poesía descriptiva (¿cómo cantarle, si no, a un pintor?) y en el estribillo, con una sola frase, te mete toda la soledad del genio creativo:

¿Es obligatorio escribir la letra, o basta con abrir la ventana para que a la gente le entre curiosidad? Es que tendría que buscarla. En siguientes ediciones iré ampliándola, según me vaya acordando

Supertramp empezó a decir adiós, en mi opinión, con el album "Breakfast in America". Pensado para triunfar en los USA, junto a cancioncillas para radio fórmula había perlas como ésta:

Pues si hablamos de letras, la canción "A trabajos forzados" en su versión acústica del álbum Antonio Vega [Basico]. Una cación con la letra del poema de Antonio Gala, símplemente increible:
