Rowling has previously said Harry Potter himself will survive until the seventh and final book in the series, but she did not say whether he will reach adulthood. "You have to wait and see whether he survives to be a grown-up," Rowling said in August.
Rowling publicly stated before the publication of her last installment, "Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix," that a major character would die in that book as well, though we won't reveal who here.<hr></blockquote>

Y aquí tenéis un enlace a una primera review de la edición, donde en resumen se nos cuenta que esta vez los extras son más completos y menos infantiles, pero que se siguen echando de menos detenerse más en la producción y el making of. Por cierto, sólo 3 escenas eliminadas, no vemos nada de Sir Cadogan.

"Esta semana hemos estado filmando una de las escenas en el gran comedor, con casi todo el cast principal, y cerca de 250 - 300 "extras". Según informa HPANA (Via The Leaky Cauldron y origen Yahoo!) se ha ofrecido a Jean-Pierre Jeanet (recuerdo director de Amelie, Alien Resurrection y La Ciudad de los NIños Perdidos), dirigir Harry Potter y la Orden del Fénix.
La primera opiones que ha dicho Jeanet no son demasiado optimistas, pero no hay todavía respuesta definitiva.

Puede que Alfonso Cuarón no esté dirigiendo el Cáliz de Fuego, sin embargo, no queda descartada una nueva participación en las películas. Se dice que uno de los "requisitos" que pide el mexicano para hacerlo es que el cast sea el original, puesto que se encariñó con todos ellos.
"Sería maravilloso el tener en todas las series a los mismos chicos. Sería invaluable. Sería algo especial, por las edades. Hasta ahora, lo estan haciendo muy bien. No creo que Dan se vaya a hacer más alto o que de pronto le vaya a crecer otro ojo, lo mismo con Emma, y Rupert está OK. Esperemos que si. En la última se supone que tiene 17, digamos que tengan 19. Pues un servidor desde hace unas semanas se está releiendo la serie completa, pero con el trabajo e imprevistos que me están saliendo voy muy lento.
Creo que voy a acabar el trabajo que estoy haciendo ahora y me voy ir a leer un poco.

Producer David Heyman tells ComingSoon.net that Steven Kloves, who wrote the first four "Harry Potter" screenplays, will be stepping aside for the fifth installment in the series, Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix, to return to directing.
Kloves wrote and directed the popular 1989 film The Fabulous Baker Boys with Michelle Pfeiffer, Jeff and Beau Bridges, and he is anxious to get back into directing by adapting Mark Haddon's best-selling novel The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, which Heyman will also produce.
Heyman will be working with writer Michael Goldenberg on the script for "Order of the Phoenix," with the usual final approval by J.K. Rowling herself. Goldenberg wrote Jodie Foster's Contact, the 2003 adaptation of Peter Pan, as well as the screenplay for the upcoming Where the Wild Things Are film, which is to be directed by Spike Jonze.
At the time of this writing, the plans are to start shooting "Order of the Phoenix" in January 2006 for a Spring or Fall 2007 release. A director should hopefully be announced by the end of the year.<hr></blockquote>

El hombre tiene un buen curriculum, desde luego, y buena falta que le hace: Adaptar y resumir a dos horas y media (que al fin y al cabo es lo que hará) el quinto libro es una tarea que no le deseo a nadie...
El Tiempo es el mejor maestro... Lástima que mate a todos sus alumnos...

Pues creo todo lo contrario, el quinto para mi es un grandísimo libro y amplia y define todo el entorno y mitologia Harry Potter, para la película le veo bastante facil de adaptar, que el libro tiene un montón de información, pero la base central de libro es bastante simple.

Yo también creo que La orden del Fenix es muchísimo más facil de adaptar que, por ejemplo, El Caliz de Fuego. Es un libro mucho más "relajado" y misterioso. El Caliz de Fuego, no obstante, será bastante más espectacular, pero presenta muchos personajes importantes en la saga y además cuenta con [SPOILER] <span style="color:white;">la reencarnación de Voldemort y su primer enfrentamiento "real" con Harry [</span>FIN SPOILER].
Por cierto, quien se haya currado la investigación esa del cuarto de los menesteres se merece un premio.
