Menuda jodienda lo de los subtítulos!!

Lo he preguntado en el post de Suevia pero supongo que aqui sera más adecuado, que tal la imagen de "Una vida marcada" y como pelicula que tal?? la he pillado totalmente a ciegas por que venia en un pack con "La matanza del dia de San Valentin" que al final me ha salido todo por poco más de 11 euros en las rebajas del ECI, espero que haya merecido la pena.

Recibido el Film Noir 3 de warner y como novedad decir que los discos vienen en slims. Además, incluye un sexto disco con el documental Bringing Darkness to Light subtit. en español y una serie de cortometrajes, estos sin subtítulos.

gran noticia que el docu incluya subt en español, al igual que el disco extra en el pack de Bette Davisa, pero no el de Tennessee Williams.

Alguien tiene "La jungla de asfalto" que ha sacado hace poco Absolute Distribution??? merece la pena o es igual de mala que la que sacaron de Perdicion y que tuvieron que retirar luego por tener los derechos Suevia, existe alguna edición fuera decente con subtitulos en español???

De calidad regularcilla, tipo a los otros títulos que ha sacado Absolute Distribution (pero para mi gusto y no soy muy exigente, se deja ver bastante bien)

Bueno, ya os ha contestado Werner. Sin embargo, a mí me parece que la calidad es bastante decente. Después me vi "Capitanes intrépidos", y a mi juicio la copia se ve peor, y es la típica edición Warner que se considera impecable...

Parece que ya está anunciado de nuevo el Fox que nos escamotearon de la última tanda: Boomerang.

me voy a pegar unas semanas negras, negras, negras con estos pack, los Fox, y cuando acabe, si correos no lo pierde, me llegan los 3 nuevos Fox noir de fines agosto + Perdicion.

q sea slim y los otros 2 no. Es mas, el pack de los tios duros son cajas amaray. Incongruente.

De los noir 3 son zona 2 también "La dama del lago" y "Border incident". Las producciones RKO son las que son z1 solamente.

Vicki (1953) - Jean Peters stars as New York cover girl Vicki Lynn, whose fame came fast and hard, and so does her murder. Her press agent Steve Christopher (Elliott Reid) and her sister Jill (Jeanne Crain) are placed under the microscope by relentless police lieutenant Ed Cornell (Richard Boone), who derives sadistic pleasure from interrogating them. And there is no lack of other suspects in Vicki’s death, despite the fact that Jill found Steve standing over the body. Suspense builds as the characters remember moments in Vicki’s lightning rise to the top of café society. Max Showalter plays Steve’s columnist pal, Carl Betz is a police detective and Aaron Spelling operates the telephone switchboard at Vicki’s hotel.

Aunque tenían que haber salido el 29 de agosto, pero bueno, esperaremos.

Comentario crítico de Now Toronto:

20th century-fox's film noir dvd series, which with this issue includes over 20 DVDs, is moving toward the bottom of the barrel. The best film here, Henry Hathaway's 14 Hours, isn't really a noir at all, and Vicki is an inferior remake of I Wake Up Screaming, which was included in the last flight of Fox noir DVDs.

In 14 Hours, a rather trembly young Richard Basehart sits on a window ledge high above the Manhattan streets as Paul Douglas's plain-spoken working-class cop tries to talk him down. Life swirls around as we try to figure out what his problem is. Foster Hirsch, in a strong academic commentary, suggests that the problem, which the film cannot name, is homosexuality. An interesting film with early-career appearances by people like Debra Paget and Jeffrey Hunter.

Rather more fun, though decidedly less important, is Shock, one of those films that reflects the 40s fascination with and fear of psychiatry. Vincent Price stars as a shrink who uses his power to confine a young woman who saw him commit a murder.

esas tres Fox son las que me llegaran (ya ando con rezos por si correos vuelve a fuck me again) sobre el 15 de sept.

nunca he comprado en dvdempire. son mas baratos?

Dvdempire creo que son más caros. Lo interesante de la tienda es que puedes ver foto grande de la portada y la contraportada del dvd (y verificar información sobre subtítulos y demas).

Suelo comprar en dvdpacific, que creo que son de los más baratos (a 7.11 € salen los fox film noir), aunque como estoy comprobando no son los más rápidos en recibir el material :cabreo

desde los problemas de dvdsoon hace un año, decidi pasar de problemas y comprar todo en amazon.

Otro pack maravilloso que servidor se quedará sin comprar por que no lleva subtítulos:
