Recordando aquel doble año 1993-1994 de Tom Hanks, con esas dos películas tan populares y sus dos Oscar podría parecer que una llevó a la otra pero sólo parcialmente: cuando empezó el rodaje de Forrest Gump, Philadelphia ni siquiera se había estrenado.
