Ni lo dudes, yo tengo los dos y el ep-10 es mejor en general que el ep30. Te pego una comparacion rapida de un forero en HIGDEF en la cual estoy totalmente deacuerdo.
Un saludo.
I own both the A20 and A30, so I'll lay out some of my observations:
The A20 is heavier than the A30 and is a little bit deeper (maybe an inch or so).
The A20 has a much nicer faceplate, with a flip down door covering the bottom half of the player. Build quality and overall appearance both go to the A20.
SD-DVD playback on both units to my TV over HDMI appears identical. I have cracked open both units, and the ABT upscaler chip has the same part number on each unit.
The A20 has a better HD DVD-ROM transport/drive than the A30. I say this because it is much quieter when searching/skipping chapters, and has decidedly less problems playing my SD-DVD and HD DVD collection. I own several discs of both types that will not play in the A30 but run just fine in the A20.
The A20 has a bigger/better remote control (same as the A35) that has buttons for your TV as well.
The A20 has an S-video output, the A30 does not.
The Display on the A20 is roughly twice the size of the A30, and has a much nicer look to it.
Both players output 1080/24.
The A20 is maybe a second or so faster when loading discs.
Once again, these are my personal observations based on my experience with both players. It seems to me that the A30 is a 'value' version of the A20, and that a bunch of things were value-engineered out of the A20 to make the A30 cheaper. I have updated both of my units to the latest (but not greatest) firmware (A20-2.8, A30-2.0) for these observations. I am told the A20 has better sound capabilities as well, but I'm not currently running a modern sound system with these units.
