Jane, no te deja poner la imagen porque imgur te lo ha convertido a video, a mí últimamente me lo hace con todas, he tenido que recurrir a otras páginas, por ejemplo giphy.com va bastante bien.

Al igual que Nosferatu (película con la que comparte varias cosas aparte de la estética) está ambientada en lo que en los países germánicos se llama "época Biedermeier". Y las referencias a pintores como Friedrich o Kersting, representativos de esa época y estilo, son muy evidentes en ambas películas. Aunque a mí, a quien siempre me ha evocado el personaje de espaldas de Friedrich (al igual que otros de sus cuadros, como El naufragio de la Esperanza, o El cazador en el bosque) es a Frankenstein (bien a Victor Frankenstein o a su monstruo).
