Me gustó mucho cuando la vi en su momento.
What makes Megalopolis so strange and, for a big-budget Hollywood film, so singular, is that, just like Vergil’s Aeneid, it is at once accretive, allusive, and idiosyncratic because Coppola is attempting something very few artists have ever done: to speak from inside the imperial organism, even as it begins to crack, and to craft a vision that is both a monument to its grandeur and a requiem for its decline.

Correcto, Welles era un coloso cómo director; el padre de todos los virtuosos de la cámara posteriores (Hitchcock, De Palma...) el otro día ví el proceso con Anthony Perkins y es una de las mejores adaptaciones de un libro que yo jamás haya visto.Ciudadano Kane

¿Demasiado barroco visualmente?. No sé, pero el uso de los claroscuros en la planificación visual del asesinato en el hotel por parte de su Quinlan en sed de mal aún me pone los pelos de punta.
