No exactamente.

yo habría seguido jugando a hacerte feliz,
Cita:
Aunque tú no lo sepas
me he inventado tu nombre,
me drogué con promesas
y he dormido en los coches.
Aunque tú no lo entiendas
nunca escribo el remite en el sobre
por no dejar mis huellas.
Y aunque tú no lo sepas
me he acostado a tu espalda,
y mi cama se queja
fría cuando te marchas.
He blindado mi puerta,
y al llegar la mañana
no me di ni cuenta
de que nunca estabas.
Aunque tú no lo sepas
nos decíamos tanto,
con las manos tan llenas
cada día más flacos.
Inventamos mareas,
tripulábamos barcos,
y encendía con besos
el mar de tus labios.
Back in Your Arms Again de Bruce Springsteen
Cita:
You said once I was your treasure, and I saw your face in every store
The promises we make at night, oh that's all they are
Unless we fill them with faith and love they're emty as a howlin' wind.
Now darlin' I just wanna be
Back in your arms, back in your arms again..
Back in your arms, back in your arms again.
Back in your arms, back in your arms again.
You came to me with love and kindness, but all my life I've been a prisoner
of my own blindness
I met you with indifference, and I don't know why.
Now I wake from my dream, I wake from my dream to this world.
Where all the shadow and darkness and a dark sky unfurls.
And all the love I've thrown away and lost, honey I'm longing for again.
Now there's nothing that I wouldn't do if I could be
Back in your arms, back in your arms again.
Back in your arms, back in your arms again.
Back in your arms, back in your arms again.
Back in your arms
In my dream my love was lost, I lived by luck and faith.
I carried you inside of me, and praied it wouldn't be to late.
Now I'm standin' on this empty road, where nothin' moves but the wind...

Take me out tonight
Where theres music and theres people
And theyre young and alive
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one

Take me out tonight
Because I want to see people and i
Want to see life
Driving in your car
Oh, please dont drop me home
Because its not my home, its their
Home, and Im welcome no more
And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
Take me out tonight
Take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
And in the darkened underpass
I thought oh god, my chance has come at last
(but then a strange fear gripped me and i
Just couldnt ask)
Take me out tonight
Oh, take me anywhere, I dont care
I dont care, I dont care
Driving in your car
I never never want to go home
Because I havent got one, da ...
Oh, I havent got one
And if a double-decker bus
Crashes into us
To die by your side
Is such a heavenly way to die
And if a ten-ton truck
Kills the both of us
To die by your side
Well, the pleasure - the privilege is mine
Oh, there is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out
There is a light and it never goes out

Nightbird
Some old hotel room in Memphis
I see the city through the rain
I'm just chasing me in my time
And remembering some pain
You see there once was a boy
And on the street he’d surely die
So the nightbird took him in
And she taught him how to fly
See the nightbird softly fly
Why does she fly alone
Is the moonlight just a flame
For her memory now she's gone
Two-bit bars and honkytonks
Any pleasure can be found
You can get just what you want
If you lay your money down
And lonely sailors do their drinking
My my my how the brave men do die
And the nightbird sells her pleasures
Bringing tears to my eyes
See the nightbird softly fly
Why does she fly alone
Is the moonlight just a flame
For her memory now she's gone
So I guess I'll go out walking
Lord let the rain keep falling down
I guess I'll go and chase some memories
In the dark side of town
See the nightbird softly fly
Why does she fly alone
Is the moonlight just a flame
For her memory now she's gone
For her memory now she's gone
For her memory now she's gone
Perfect Day de Lou Reed,

"Dust in the Wind" de Kansas
Cita:
Lets dance in style, lets dance for a while
Heaven can wait were only watching the skies
Hoping for the best but expecting the worst
Are you going to drop the bomb or not?
Let us die young or let us live forever
We dont have the power but we never say never
Sitting in a sandpit, life is a short trip
The musics for the sad men
Can you imagine when this race is won
Turn our golden faces into the sun
Praising our leaders were getting in tune
The musics played by the madmen
Forever young, I want to be forever young
Do you really want to live forever, forever and ever
Some are like water, some are like the heat
Some are a melody and some are the beat
Sooner or later they all will be gone
Why dont they stay young
Its so hard to get old without a cause
I dont want to perish like a fading horse
Youth is like diamonds in the sun
And dimonds are forever
So many adventures couldnt happen today
So many songs we forgot to play
So many dreams are swinging out of the blue
We let them come true

The green leaves of summer, escrita para El Álamo de John Wayne:
El emigrante de Juanito Valderrama:Cita:
A time to be reaping, a time to be sowing
The green leaves of summer are calling me home
It was good to be young then in the season of plenty
When the catfish were jumping as high as the sky.
A time just for planting, a time just for plowing
A time to be courting a girl of your own
T'was so good to be young then, to be close to the earth
And to stand by your wife, at the moment of birth.
A time to be reaping, a time to be sowing
A time just for living, a place for to die.
T'was so good to be young then, to be close to the earth
Now the green leaves of Summer are calling me home
T'was so good to be young then, to be close to the earth,
Now the green leaves of Summer are calling be home.
Cita:
Tengo que hacer un rosario
con tus dientes de marfil
para que pueda besarlo
cuando esté lejos de ti,
sobre sus cuentas divinas
hechas de nardo y jazmín
rezaré pá que me ampare
aquella que está en San Gil.
Y adiós mi España querida,
dentro de mi alma
te llevo metida,
y aunque soy un emigrante
jamás en la vida
yo podré olvidarte.
Cuando salí de mi tierra
volví la cara llorando
porque lo que más quería
atrás me lo iba dejando,
llevaba por compañera
a mi Virgen de San Gil,
un recuerdo y una pena
y un rosario de marfil.
Y adiós mi España querida (etc.)
Yo soy un pobre emigrante
y traigo a esta tierra extraña
y en mi pecho un estandarte
con los colores de España,
con mi patria y con mi novia
y mi Virgen de San Gil
y mi rosario de cuentas
yo me quisiera morir.

Though i have a broken heart
I'm too busy to be heart broken
There's a lot of things that need to be done
But i have a broken heart
Though i have a broken dream
I'm too busy to be dreaming of you
There's a lot of things that i've got to do
But i have a broken dream
And i'm wasted all the time
I got to drink you right off of my mind
I've been told that this will heal given time
But i have a broken heart
And i'm crying all the time
I have to keep it covered up with a smile
And i'll keep on moving on for a while
But i have a broken heart...

Avui no et fa mal res...?»
no llamas y no vendrás.
Ahora recuerdo tus manos
tu ausencia da soledad
en mi calle ya no hay críos
y mi jardín seco esta.
Ahora recuerdo tu cara
tu fantasma quiere hablar
y junto a mi está en la cama
pero calor no me da.
Juntos hicimos la casa
a imagen de nuestro amor
fuiste y quedó tu fantasma
y la casa se cayó.
Ahora recuerdo tu risa
que lagrimas nos costó
y ahora ya no somos nada
ni tu fantasma ni yo. Si...
Los días se quedan en nada
recuerdos de nuestro amor
le doy pena a tu fantasma
y consuelo a mi dolor.
Ahora recuerdo tus ojos
clavados en mi canción
y mi canción me recuerda
a mi fantasma mi amor.
"La senda del tiempo" - Celtas Cortos
A veces llega un momento en que
te haces viejo de repente
sin arrugas en la frente
pero con ganas de morir.
Paseando por las calles
todo tiene igual color
siento que algo hecho en falta
no se si será el amor.
Me despierto por la noches
entre una gran confusión
es tal la melancolía
que está acabando conmigo.
Siento que me vuelvo loco
y me sumerjo en el alcohol
las estrellas por la noche
han perdido su esplendor
A veces llega un momento en que
te haces viejo de repente
sin arrugas en la frente
pero con ganas de morir.
Paseando por las calles
todo tiene igual color
siento que algo hecho en falta
no se si será el amor.
He buscado en los desiertos
de la tierra del dolor
y no he hallado mas respuesta
que espejismos de ilusión.
He hablado con las montañas
de la desesperación
y su respuesta era solo
el eco sordo de mi voz.
A veces...

"Waiting For Today To Happen" de The Lightning Seeds
The usual dreams, the usual schemes.
Same lost feelings, same bad day dreams.
Only unreal and delirious.
Out of breath and I'm out of luck.
Sometimes, when I wake up slowly,
Paralysed by the fears within me,
Waiting for today to happen,
Waiting for a vague impression,
Waiting for today to happen,
Waiting here with nothing but disaster.
Nailed tight to this bed forever,
Turn out the lights, tomorrow whatever.
I'm so hung over here with sleep,
All I want to do is dream and dream and dream.
Just lie down and never leave,
Put myself here at your knees.
Sometimes, when I wake up slowly,
Paralysed, by the fears within me.
Waiting for today to happen
Waiting for a vague impression,
Waiting for today to happen,
Waiting here with nothing but disaster.
Nailed tight, to this bed forever,
Turn out the light tomorrow whatever.Sometimes, when I wake up slowly,
Paralysed, by the fears within me.
Waiting for today to happen
Waiting for a vague impression,
Waiting for today to happen,
Waiting here with nothing but disaster.
"I Don't Wanna Die Anymore" de New Radicals
Two months of fun
Two years of pain
Add it up
And get a life of rain
Need to scream
But too ashamed
gonna rain gonna rain
You wanna go you wanna stay you wanna
You really blew my world
I wanna live and there's only one way
I don't wanna die anymore
I want to live it up
I don't want this high anymore
But i can't give it up
I won't live a lie anymore
I need to give you up
Won't you save me
Two months of sun
a life of rain
Add it up
I'm on my own again
Need to scream
I'm so filled with rage
gonna rain gonna rain
You wanna go you wanna stay you wanna
You really screwed my world
I gotta live but you stand in the way
I'm pulling out now "UHH"
I don't wanna die anymore
I want to live it up
I don't want this high anymore
But i can't give it up
I won't live a lie anymore
I need to give you up
Aoooh Ohhh OH
"OH OH BABY" did you think that i was strong?
Well "OH OH BABY" can't see that you were wrong
"OH OH HONEY" did you think that i was strong?
Aaaaaahhh....
I don't wanna die anymore
I want to live it up
I don't want this high anymore
But I can't give it up
I won't live a lie anymore
I need to
give you up, give you up, give you up,
you got me really going outtah my mind
"OH OH BABY" did you think that I was strong?
"OH OH HONEY" can't see that you were wrong!
"OH OH BABY" did you think that I was strong?
"OH OH BABY" did you think that I was strong?
"OH OH HONEY" can't see that you were wrong!
"OH OH BABY" did you think that I was strong?

N'abrazo (triste).
