What makes Megalopolis so strange and, for a big-budget Hollywood film, so singular, is that, just like Vergil’s Aeneid, it is at once accretive, allusive, and idiosyncratic because Coppola is attempting something very few artists have ever done: to speak from inside the imperial organism, even as it begins to crack, and to craft a vision that is both a monument to its grandeur and a requiem for its decline.

Me parece lo acertado. En mi opinión creo que sería contraproducente estirar el chicle más de lo debido.

Es una película, peeeeeero ya dijeron a finales de 2024 en Empire que tienen ideas para una segunda película (no relacionada con esta, pero que sí contaría consi esta tuviese éxito. Pero vamos, no hacía falta que lo dijesen. Si la peli tiene éxito hacen otra seguro.Spoiler:

La BBC actual es nauseabunda a unos niveles insoportables pero después del destrozo imperdonable que este figura hizo de "Rebelión en la granja" me acerco a este proyecto con especial cautela. No espero absolutamente nada de nada.

Concretamente están filmando en Mead's Wall, en el monte Ruapehu. La misma ubicación que se usó para el laberinto rocoso de Emyn Muil en Las dos torres:
