Si Day-Lewis (suponiendo que la peli con PTA entre dentro de la temporada de premios en ese entonces), no se lo impide.
Si Meryl lo consigue, igualará a la imperial Katharine Hepburn en número de Oscars -hazaña que no ha conseguido ningún interprete nunca más-, para muchos la mejor actriz de la historia de cine.
Por cierto, para los que consideren que Meryl es una gran actriz pero que tampoco hay para tanto, que vean la decisión de Sophie (en V.O, por supuesto).
ESO no es de este mundo, no es actuar, simplemente Meryl deja de ser Meryl ( seguro que Day-Lewis tomó buena nota.)

Spielberg, Hanks y Streep tienen mi atención siempre, hagan lo que hagan.
Pero que se junten?? Ese año no hay narices de liársela con los sobres en los Oscars, seguro.
Proyecto de palabras mayores, desde luego, y las ganas por las nubes. Aunque antes toca Ready Player One, que la estoy esperando mucho también.

Spielberg retrasa su proyecto sobre Edgardo Mortara y empezará a rodar este otro el próximo mes de mayo, así que el film puede entrar perfectamente en la temporada de premios de este año.

Yo incluso ya he vaticinado su cuarto Oscar, que visto lo rápido que suele ser Spielberg le puede llegar en 11 meses.Iniciado por Dr. Morbius

Además si me da por pensar en clave política me parece a mí que el ímpetu de Spielberg para anunciar y ponerse con este proyecto tiene que ver con que Trump esté en la Casa Blanca Blanca. Si sigo pensando en esa clave, la elección de Streep tampoco parece casual (quitando sus indudables cualidades para encarnar el papel). Como tampoco me parec ecasual que Spielberg se embarque en un film sobre este tema, la lucha entre poder político y periodístico, creo que ahora está muy de actualidad y antes que hacer una nueva versión de Todos los hombres del presidente (también con Graham en el meollo de la cuestión -aunque creo recordar que en el film de Pakula su personaje no salía-) se puede recurrir a estos otros hechos.
