Una de las extras que aparece en el clip de la discordia con Coppola, Rayna Menz (y a la que este besa cariñosamente en las mejillas y susurra algo en el oído) ha usado su cuenta de Instagram para decirle a Variety, a quién filtró el vídeo y a las coordinadoras de intimidad que no tienen vergüenza ninguna, que las acusaciones son completamente falsas, y que Coppola es un ejemplo de profesionalidad, cariño, empatía y atención en un rodaje del que otros muchos directores deberían tomar nota.

Posteriormente ha contactado con Deadline para hacer una declaración pública oficial, con su nombre y apellidos. Olé sus ovarios. Ha tenido mucho valor la muchacha.

Y si, hubo besitos. BESITOS Y ABRAZOS Y PALABRAS DE APOYO que se agradecen MUCHO después de jornadas maratonianas de trabajo.

Se llama tener empatía, humanidad y ser afable y cariñoso, como es Coppola.


Es más, Coppola y ella BAILARON JUNTOS, porque ELLA SE LO PIDIO.

He did nothing to make me or for that matter anyone on set feel uncomfortable,” Menz told Deadline. “I felt disgusted, I was blindsided by it because it was a closed set. That someone had video of that is just ridiculous and super unprofessional. It’s gross because he only ever spoke about how wonderful his wife is. His wife was on set with us, most days. It feels gross, seeing that video and they way they were trying to convey a message. Just gross.”

The insinuation, which the trade said corroborated a charge published during Cannes in a UK publication, was just not true, she said.

“It was all false,” Menz said. “In fact, I was the one who asked him to dance. I asked him to dance, in front of everybody else. That’s why it’s so funny that this story came out. He even said, something along the lines of — mind you it was over a year ago so this is not a proper quote — but he said something like, ‘I’m a gentleman, and I would never say no to a lady.’ And then we waltzed, to club music.

He was nothing but professional, a gentleman, he was like this cute Italian grandfather, running around the set,” she said. “It was just so much fun. He’s a nice generous person.”

Pero no se ha quedado ahí, la muchacha. Luego hizo otro post, más conciso, donde insinuaba que además de ser un miserable como persona, quién filtró el vídeo rompió las normas del rodaje, porque no se permitían móviles ni cámaras externas.

The Coppola’s are the kindest, most well mannered family I’ve ever met. The actress, Rayna, has done the right thing, as has Mike running this.
I know Tatiana to be good also. This was a bad moment. Variety should apologise, in a big way. What an embarrassment.
