Shawn Levy to Direct Night at the Museum 3


Said to be on the way for some time, Twentieth Century Fox's family sequel Night at the Museum 3 has been scheduled to hit theaters on December 25, 2014. Shawn Levy will return to the franchise as director with Ben Stiller reprising his role as museum security guard Larry Daley.

The first Night at the Museum was released in 2006 and followed Stiller's Daley as he discovered that, at night, the exhibits at New York's Museum of Natural History come to life. The 2009 sequel Night at the Museum: Battle of the Smithsonian then brought the action to Washington, DC. There's no word yet on where the third adventure might be set, but don't be surprised to see other familiar faces returning beyond Stiller.

Levy last directed Real Steel and will release his latest comedy The Internship on June 7.

In addition to scheduling Night at the Museum 3 for December, Fox has announced that their upcoming drama The Maze Runner will hit theaters on February 14, 2014.


Noche en el Museo 3 se estrenará el 25 de Diciembre de 2014 en USA y dirigirá Shawn Levy con Ben Stiller de nuevo en el papel principal.

Estaba casi cantado que se haria una tercera entrega, viendo que la secuela fue un exito comercial, aunque pego un bajon bastante gordo respecto a la original, la cual me sorprendio mucho ya que fue un soplo de frescura en su momento.

Espero que despues de esta, Levy haga la secuela de Real Steel, porque tambien lo vale.

Fox anuncia el comienzo del rodaje en Febrero del 2014, con Vancouver y Londres como principales localizaciones.

Shawn Levy y Ben Stiller volverán a la franquicia, y la fecha de estreno sigue siendo el 25 de Diciembre del 2014.

Me va a empezar a interesar y todo.

Como dije en otro hilo, la primera se me hizo pesadita pero reconozco que la segunda estuvo bastante mejor. Eso sí, son cine familiar muy muy blandito.
