Y no, no conozco esa fuente, la habré leído, pero no la identifico en este momento, porque comentarios de ese tipo de "pues a mi me dijeron en el Cedia esto y lo otro..." he leído bastantes y no todas eran exactamente como esa, así que supongo que es un dato relativo.
Efectivamente, cine4home es la mas seria con diferencia. De momento creo que solo hay datos de contraste y luz de cinemotion y esos datos sí indican una mejora.Cita:
De todas maneras como bien dices habrá que esperar a la review de Cien4home (que son los únicos que prueban los proyectores con unidades de serie/"venta a la calle" y no de evaluación. Y digo prueban, porque los test los hacen a varios equipos).
Vamos que para mi la conclusión de que no mejoran respecto al X3 están por sacar...
Por cierto Worf ya tiene su X30 (unidad de producción) y está preparando el review, supongo que en una semana lo podremos leer.

Que sí, mis queridos compatriotas, que mi X30 ya ha sido manipulado su nivelado de PIXEL arriba, abajo y a todos lados (incluido el del CMS) dando mismo resultado, pixel rojo fuera de lugar bajo, no hay manera posible desde su menu ó sub-menu de lograr su calibración, lo que doy por resultado como panel defectuoso por razones obvias: transporte desde china a españa por mendrúgos que no entienden la palabra "MUY FRAGIL" jajajajaja
Sobre el tema de calentamiento... (y lo dice un propietario de X30 y no uno del foro con intenciones de darsela de listo o engañar a la peña) NO PRECISA CALENTAMIENTO POR MUCHO QUE SE LEA POR AHÍ... EL X30 EN 3D ES DE VISIONADO INSTANTANEO SIN PRECISAR DE 20 ó 30 MINUTOS (y ya puede ponerse el más cabezon de la clase como quiéra jajajaja).

No, no has entendido lo que quiero decir: no me refiero al calentamiento tipico de la bombilla: eso lo saben aquí y en la china.... Si tu coges un proye que no sea JVC y pones un 2D y después un 3D, por decir algo: no necesitas mas calentamiento, pues la bombilla ya lo esta. En el caso de los D-ILA se necesita alrededor de 20 minutos extra mas para digasmolo, calentar los paneles a modo 3D (lease funcionen a tope de prestaciones).Cita:

Una cosa si hace, que no me hacía mi anterior HD750 DLA (RS20), y es justamente el encendido; en el X30 me tarda casi el minuto en darme señal de vida en la pantalla. En eso si es una variante en comparación con su viejo hermano que en menos de 30 segundos ya se podía distinguir un imagen difuminada con el nombre "JVC DILA".
Silencioso si que lo es, pero como todos los proyectores en Luz Alta hace su ruidito (sin exageración).
Haya paz compañeros que mas da si hasta que no pasen 10,15 o20 minutos no este nuestro dispositivo a pleno pulmon yo cuando enciendo el proyector no tengo prisa por hacer nada solo disfrutar y ya esta de todas maneras al mejor los dos teneis razon que se puede visionar al instante,peroa humenta la calidad al llevar 15 o 20 minutos el proye encendido no puede ser?

Yo sigo insistiendo; hoy pusimos la primera de la última parte del Harry Potter en 3D y la vimos desde el primer encendido (sin calentar motores jeje) hasta apagarlo, de idem calidad, colorimetria y luz (tan sólo la diafonia al principio, un tocke en un nanosegundo y ya está!). Sinceramente, no sé de donde sacan eso de los 20 o 30 minutos para el X30 jejejeje Como propietario de uno, entended que lo flippe un poco :cigarro

Mejores negros pese a ser inferior su contraste de origen (curioso verdad?)
Una imagen con mucha más profundidad (por fin en DLA, ya era hora)
Mejor colorimetria.
Una fluidez en las escenas de acción que pedía a grítos en sus viejos hermanos.
Seguro que dentro de 7 días te nombraré algunas mejoras más jejeeje Dame tiempo

Me las ha pedido Francis de Audiozona no se cuanto valen ,de todas maneras he leido una rewiens francesa que las gafas de lo LED de PHILIPS al parecer funcionan perfectamente en nuestro proyectores sera cuestion de solo comprar el emisor y traerme del mediamarckt un juego para probar seguramente costaran menos que las de jvc,por lo visto el fabricante se llam XPAND o algo asi seria interezante buscar algo mas economico y que funcione bien.Cita:

Hoy (esta noche de madrugada) otro señor propietario de un RS 40 (X3) que ha adquirido el RS 45 (X30) dice lo siguiente:

I finally found some time today to dive into the RS45. For those that dont know, I owned a RS1 and RS40 before getting this 45. I put ~540 hours on my RS40 in the ~11 months I owned it and just sold it a few weeks ago.
I am using the zoom method on a 117.5" diag/9' wide 2.35 DaLite HP 2.8 screen which gives me a 94" diag 1.78 image. The RS45 is right near max throw for the 1.78 image at 17.5'. I am somewhere around mid throw for my 2.35/40 image. I am getting around 2.1-2.2 real world gain from the HP in my setup in my center seat (which I sit in 95+% of the time). Seating distance is about 12.5' which puts me at about a 1.8 view distance for 1.78.
Had a bit of a scare right off the bat as the unit would not get power for some reason. After unplugging and plugging the power cable back in a few times, I got powerhttp://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/image...s/confused.gif.....who knows.
First thing I did was experiment with the lens memory since this was my big motivation for upgrading. I need to experiment a bit more with this before coming to any final conclusions, but so far when I switch from my 2.35 preset to my 1.85, it is perfect! The strange thing though is everytime I went from 1.85 back to my 2.35 memory setting, the shift was off slightly both vertical and horizontal...........not sure if it was consistently off each time or not and like I said I need to experiment more with this. So far though even with this being slightly off, I am happy as it makes switching aspects a bit easier. I will report back after I play with this some more though. It is a bit slow, but faster than I could do it manually so I am not complaining. Oh, I did not find the amount of button presses on the remote to be an issue at all. I know this has bothered some, but I found it a non issue.
Next I put in the AVS 709 disc to do some basic settings such as contrast, brightness, check uniformity and convergence. Brightness needed a 1 click bump to +1 and contrast was good at 0. Brightness and color uniformity with the various patterns off the 709 disc looked excellent and no issues here.
Convergence I noticed right off the bat was off a bit with the blue horizontal. 1 pixel shift to the left proved to be the best setting which put the center dead on, the top slightly off in one direction and the bottom slightly off in the other. Overall, nothing to worry about after the pixel shift. Vertical blue is dead on across the entire screen and red both horizontal and vertical was dead on across the screen which I was really happy about as that seems to be the most obvious one as far as misconvergence. My RS40 was just the opposite as blue was bang on in both directions, but red was slightly off (cant remember now if it was in the V or H). Overall, the convergence on this RS45 is slightly better than my RS40, but both overall I would rate as VERY good. One interesting note about the pixel shift feature that has changed from the previous RS series is there is no longer a green shift adjustment for either vertical or horizontal. There are now just 4 options with vertical and horizontal adjustments for both red and blue. This could be an issue I guess if you end up with green out of whack, but luckily on my particular unit that was fine.
For 2d, I am using the Natural preset with gamma A (still need to find the best gamma, but right now I am using A) and standard color which has been measured very close to REC709. I changed sharpness from the default (cant remember what it was) to +6 and detail enhance back down to "0".
I then decided to throw on Monsters Inc not for any other reason than it was sitting therehttp://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/image...ies/tongue.gif. As I mentioned, I have the RS45 near max throw for 1.85/78 material which means max contrast, least light output. I also have my iris closed ALL the way down to -15 and I am using low lamp.........so basically I have this 45 setup for max contrast/least light output. Even with this setup on my HP 2.8 screen, the image is VERY bright, punchy and just flat out gorgeous! Basically, it looked just like I remember my RS40 image. Subjectively without being able to do an A/B comparison, I would say the 2d image between the 40 and 45 is identical for all practical purposes. Maybe an A/B would bring out slight differences, but that is all that there could be (again, if any). For my 2.35 image, I bump the iris up to -10 and again very bright, punchy and flat out awesome!
I then moved on to some 3d. This is where things got interesting, or not.......Long story short, 3d performance is also (subjectively since the 40 is long gone) identical with the possible exception of maybe a little more brightness. Ghosting is not any worse from memory of when my 40 had a new bulb, but its certainly not any better either which is to be expected all things considered (same panels, etc......). I ran through 3 discs skipping around and watching various chunks/sections and here is what I found as far as ghosting, the crosstalk canceler and the parallax adjustment............
First up, the grand daddy of ghosting on my RS40, Dinosaurs Giants of Patagonia!!!!!
Starting at about the 6:30 mark, ghosting becomes steady and frequent just like on the 40, BUT the ghosting here was much more subtle/faint. I am guessing though that the reason it was much more subtle/faint is simply due to the new lamp in the 45 vs the ~400 hour lamp in the 40 when I watched this. The actual amount of ghosting was subjectively going off memory the samehttp://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/images/smilies/frown.gif Where things got interesting though is when I would pause a scene and experiment with parallax and the crosstalk canceler. Here is what I found so far........
Basically, the crosstalk canceler is useless IMHO and here is why. The only setting of the 4 that seems to do anything at all is the "white" option and the ONLY thing the white options seems to do is lighten/darken the overall image. When you move this setting all the way down to -8, the ghosting is harder to see, but the overall image is dimmer so that makes sense. Moving this all the way up to +8 the ghosting is easier to see, but the image is brighter in general so this also makes sense. With either extreme setting though, the ghosting is certainly NOT canceled, but rather just more or less noticeable simple due to the screen being darker/brighter. The 3 other color sliders dont seem to do anything at all and I am curious what exactly these should be doing?http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/image...s/confused.gif Bottom line though is this "feature" is largely worthless IMO since it does not eliminate crosstalk at all. It does make it a bit more subtle, but at the expense of darkening the image. Parallax was much more interesting in the fact that I could literally pause ANY ghosting scene and move the parallax adjustment one way or the other and eliminate the ghosting! the problem is every scene is different as far as what type of adjustment you need. On one extreme, we have something like the Despicable Me title at the 0:57 time stamp......at the "0" default parallax setting, the ghosting is horrible on this red title shot, BUT moving the parallax all the way to -15 almost completely eliminated the ghosting! Great right? WRONG! Fast forward to 4:52 where we have some ghosting going on with a lamp post....on this scene, I needed a +5 parallax setting to eliminate the ghosting which is not even close to the -15 needed for the previous scene. Now fast forward to the 23:31 mark where we get some ghosting on a straw that is in a cup.......for this scene I needed a -5 on the parallax to get rid of the ghosting. As you can see, the parallax setting you need to eliminate ghosting depends on the scene so you cant just pick a global setting that will work for the whole film which brings me to the conclusion that this "feature" is also worthless at least as far as ghosting is concerned and watching an entire film. For the record, both Grand Canyon and Patagonia showed the same results.
As far as flicker goes, yes it is still there and identical to the 40 from what I remember. I can see it at times and wish it was not there, but it is much more minor compared to ghosting for me. For others though, this might be an issue so best to see it with your own eyes and decide.
So there you have it so far. I will say the ghosting is NOTICEABLY better with a new bulb vs what I was watching with my RS40 near the end of my time with it when the lamp had ~400+ hours on it. It is much more faint and subtle. Dont get me wrong as there is still plenty of it for those looking and/or for those sensitive to this anomaly, but for me the 3d is at least watchable right now and this is just how I remember my RS40 when it had a new bulb. The big question is, what happens when we get to 300, 400, 500 hours? Will the ghosting increase noticeably just like it did on the previous generation? Only time will tell, but I am not holding my breath.
I have not tested any games or TnB or SbS material yet which ghosted even worse on the 40 vs blu ray 3d at 24p. I would bet the farm that the 45 will behave the same way, but I need to test it first at some point.
So those are just my first thoughts/impressions after having spent ~5 hours with the 45 and me doing my best to be as non biased as possible. Bottom line is I LOVE this projector for 2d (I only watch movies/concerts and the random game here and there though, so no sports or cable which might/might not change that opinion), but 3d is a mixed bag due to ghosting mainly and much further down the line, flicker. My personal opinion is anyone who is serious about 3d, especially if you plan to do any gaming or cable watching, grab a DLP. For 2d though, this projector is a winner IMO.
Having said all that, go see the 45 or any other projector for yourself if at all possible. We all have different sensitivity levels when it comes to certain display issues and if ghosting and flicker do not bother you, the JVCs are great for 3d otherwise! If you do go see one though, try to play a wide range of material and if you plan to do any gaming, be sure to try this out (if you can) since ghosting will most likely be worse here vs blu ray.
I will update my thoughts as I spend more time with the 45.
Some other things to note between the 40 and 45. Fan noise subjectively is the same, brightness subjectively is the same, CMD is subjectively the same...........for all practical purposes the 45 and the 40 are the same machine as far as 2d goes from what I noticed.
Con esto no estoy diciendo que el proye sea malo (que parece que algunos propietarios se toman a mal), sino que ya era tan bueno, que es dificilmente mejorable (por lo menos en 2D. En 3D pienso que si que era/es mejorable).
Esta info la doy para aquellos usuarios que tenga previsto comprase un JVC (como tambien es mi caso). A la vista de las mismas, a mi se me hace duro justificar un desembolso de mas de 1000€ por prestaciones idénticas (por no decir maquinas quasi idénticas).
Los únicos cambios que he notado a nivel de hard significativos - cuando se despiece por los chicos de Cine4home habra otros, lo digo de antemano, pero no influiran mucho en la calidad de la imagen -son:
1.- Cambio de la bombilla por lo que se deduce del nuevo part number: imagino que para solventar el problema que hubo el año pasado con ellas.
No obstante, habrá que confirmar si se resuelve definitivamente el tema, o es un simple cambio cosmético de "notación". Por cierto estas bombillas creo que también son compatibles con los antiguos X3.Cita:

No seré yo el te vaya a rebatir los datos, aunque bien es cierto que la traducción de ese texto en Ingles no dice exactamente lo que comentas... pero si se que el X30 ofrece casi el doble de contraste (medido) y eso es imposible que sea por una actualización en el firm. Tampoco se resaltaba especialmente la nitidez del X3 más allá de sus competidores, y sin embargo en el X30 si lo destacan; algo mejor tendrá también...Cita:

Me gustaría destacar además, que esta review de ese usuario utiliza una pantalla de 97". En mi opinión a todas luces insuficiente para medir la mayoría de parametros con fiabilidad y a "ojo" como lo ha hecho el. Por otro lado, en 2D dice que solo ha probado Monstruos SA y que no ha notado gran diferencia, hummmm ¿Normal no?, es que el X3 no es precisamente "malo".

Yo confirmo lo de Sony basándome en mi experiencia, es una barbaridad de aparato. Pero de ahi a que un texto en ingles diga que ha visto Monstruos SA y la imagen es parecida al X3, y que de ahi deduzcamos que solo han camibado el firm, en fin... jejej

De todos modos, me fiaré mas de alguien de por aqui que tb ha actualizado desde X30 que de un usuario de otro foro, aunque esté escrito en ingles :-)

Si como empresario tubiése que pensar tan sólo en cambiar el firmware de un proyector... ¿para que leches cambiar el chasis a peor jajajaja? Está claro que ello tan sólo se hace cuando lo interior lo han mejorado y no compensa en gastos el añadir un chasis de gama alta con apertura de lente automática. Así que optan por dejarselo a los hermanos mayores, y ya sabemos todos que un simple firmware no lográ estás mejoras.
El año pasado me falto poco para hacerme con un X3, pero al verlo en funcionamiento en un establecimiento especializado, pude ver que tenía misma carencia que el HD750, las imágenes de acción no eran fluidas y me mareaba. Incluso los negros no eran tan pronunciados como debería en 50000.1 de contraste. Ahora, entre otras cosas, si puedo asegurar que el X30 (a falta del chasis con apertura de lente automática) posée un nivel superior en caracteristicas y negros profundos. Esto significa que realmente metieron en sus "X" la pata. Así, tal cual son ahora es como debío ser la primera horneada.
Pero a ver, yo no tengo el porque estar defendiendo al X30, pues nada me dan los de JVC por ello jajajaja Tan sólo me da rabia que no se quiéra prestar atención a la realidad de los propietarios y que al final opte algún colega del foro por rechazar tan gran proyector por leer comentarios de usuarios que basa su estadistica en lecturas mil (unas verdaderas, y otras de algun infiltrado de otras marcas que ven hundir su barco jejeje).
En todo caso, repito, nada tiene que ver el X3 con el X30 más que la marca, y la diferencia de precio se paga por mejoras, si o si.
Yo particularmente veo una gran mejora con respecto al X3 y es que le han bajado 1000€ de precio, y las prestaciones son iguales o mejores.
Que al X3 le han bajado aún más el precio, normal... está descatalogado...
Qué se puede hacer con esos 1000€ de diferencia?, pues por ejemplo comprar un procesador externo con un CMS completo, que es lo que yo haré...
De todas formas las comparativas son odiosas si no se hacen bien!. Cómo podemos comparar un proyector nuevo con uno viejo y además hacerlo con varias semanas de diferencia?. Es una opinión completamente subjetiva, sin ninguna base!. Por ahí hay una teoría que dice que después de 60 segundos viendo una imagen somos incapaces de opinar objetivamente, ya que la visión se ha acostumbrado. Así que a mi me dejen de leches, no se puede comparar dos proyectores sin aparatos que tomen mediciones y sólo a ojimetro. Y por ojimetro también puedo meter iphones u otras cámaras en auto.
Respecto a lo que he leído del anti ghosting, os diré que es muy normal que baje la luminosidad del proyector, ya que lo que hace es restar la diferencia entre L y R, y para ello necesita bajar la luminosidad completa. El anti ghosting lo tienen todos los cines comerciales con gafas polarizadas, ya que es casi imprescindible. Para contrarestar la perdida de luminosidad pones la lampara en alto, o abres el iris y listo. El que lo traiga ya es una mejora sustancial, otra cosa es que no termine de funcionar bien... pero quien sabe... lo mismo nos sorprenden con una "actualización de firmware" y lo mejoran...
Respecto a lo del paralelaje, tiene su explicación... y es que dependiendo del tamaño de pantalla puede ser conveniente desplazar el punto de convergencia. Claro, que para ello tendría que carecer de ghosting ya que si no lo que hace es aumentarlo. Yo no soy muy partidario de usar esta función ya que suele marear más.
Ciertamente para quiénes los dineros los tiene ajustaditos (cosa que no pense) el X3 es una gran opción. Yo no preciso de perifericos exteriores CMS porqué me parece suficientemente aceptable la colorimetria y calidad en lumenes que me aporta el X30 a pelo. Mágnifico proyector.
Y es como todo, el proyector en sí es una gozada, otra cosa es los defetos propios que genera el trayecto de transporte (que son unos mulos y no imaginan el daño que causan al interior). Es un producto muy-muy fragil por sus paneles, pero, ya está Supersonido poniendo solución al asunto del desnivel del Panel rojo :D

Ya lo explíque anteriormente. El X30 lo he recibido con pequeño desnivel del panel rojo. Por mucho que se manipula desde su menu "PIXEL" siempre se ve una linea roja que cruza toda la parte baja de la pantalla (no más grueso que un pixel a lo largo). Es molesto, pero pese a ello se ven las imágenes de lujo. Lastima que el nivelador de PIXEL no sea como el de sus hermanos mayores (que debería de ser para solucionar estas cuestiones al 100%).Cita:

Están primero concretando con JVC, y despues me informarán. Como es un proyector ya estrenado no puede cambiarse por otro a la primera, hay que esperar a ver que dicen los de JVC, pues su garantia ésta para ello. Hay que tener en cuenta que no es defecto del aparato, si no del mal uso de su transporte (eso a pasado y pasará en JVC, EPSON, SONY etc siempre).
Las imagenes pese al defecto se ven de "lujo", pero lo suyo es tenerlo todo como ha de ser ¿no? :P

De todos modos a ver que cifras salen de mediciones, de momento tenemos las de cinemotion.biz (que todo el mundo parece obviar) y son MUCHO mejores que en el X3. A ver que dicen otros reviews...
Es algo que ya suponía por los 120Hz del JVC (muy pocos para mi gusto). Y estoy seguro que el ganador este año en 3D será el Panasonic y el Epson tw9000 (w).Cita:

Para mi gusto no hay en el rango de 3000€ uno mejor que el X30 en 2D.
Pero también hay que ser conscientes de que cualquier proyector de la última horneada (no importa cual marca) son una maravilla en reproducción 2D.
Mensis, 120Hz son mas que suficientes con poca luminosidad. Yo tengo un optoma DLP que es 120hz, y es una maravilla para el 3D. Tiene tan poco ghosting que en sbs con windows si pones una ventana en el lado izquierdo no la ves nada cuando tapas ese ojo.
Pero el problema del rainbow es una miiiii... mu grande.
Yo creo que la solución está en las gafas, sencillamente tienen que tener un tiempo de ambos ojos cerrados como las dlp link.
