Al hilo del anuncio de los PGA Awards, no me preocuparía demasiado la aparición de Wakanda Forever. Recuerdo que este gremio ya incluyó a películas como Deadpool o Wonder Woman anteriormente, sin lógica continuidad en las Nominaciones a Mejor Película en los Oscars.
Hay un grupo bastante claro aparentemente de futuras nominaciones a Mejor Película que deben aparecer finalmente y se mueve, creo, entorno a:
Todo a la vez en todas partes
Almas en pena de Inisherin
Los Fabelman
TÁR
Elvis
Y sí, deben incluir también a:
Top Gun: Maverick
Avatar: El sentido del agua

Después entrará supongo la sorpresa de fuerza de algún sector de la academia, película avalada por mujeres, independiente, etc.
Ahí destacaría las posibilidades de Women Talking, She said, The Whale o hasta de Nop.
El Oscar que veo indiscutible este año es a la portentosa interpretación de Cate Blanchet en TAR. No hay rival posible que supere eso.
Y ya que estamos, espero que Spielberg esté entre los elegidos y donde se merece, ganando su 3er Oscar. Junto a Frank Capra y W. Wyler, únicamente por debajo del maestro John Ford.

Yo este año veo algun oscar ya cantado como el de Ke Huy Quan, que con su discurso en los Globos de Oro y en los Critics, ya esta haciendo carrera. Ademas asi la Academia rellenara la tipica cuota etnica de cada año y tirara del factor nostalgico con un "comeback". Tambien veo muy probable el tercero de Spierlberg aunque igual a ultima hora hay sorpresas.

Veo interesante el duelo en principales entre Farrell y Fraser (ganar premios de la critica tampoco hace que luego la Academia se vaya a decantar por Farrell, mirad el año pasado lo que le paso a Stewart. Farell tiene algo de fama de "enfant terrible" aunque se ha aplacado con los años y con buenas interpretaciones pero es algo que puede jugar en su contra frente a Fraser que es otro comeback pero mas lacrimogeno de esos que le gustan a la Academia, asi que ahi andaran). El otro gran duelo lo veo entre Blanchety y Yeoh, ambas perfectamente premiables, imagino que en los SAG lo tendremos mas claro.

Y en secundaria ojo con Bassett que puede ser la cuota de actor afroamericano a rellenar y seria el primer actor en ganar un Oscar por una peli de Marvel.

Lo de Alcarrás menudo bluff. Entiendo que ganar el Oso de Oro de Berlín no garantiza ganar nada, pero leñes, es que creo que ni siquiera la han nominado en ningún premio de la crítica, qué raro.

Con Ana de Armas un poco igual, pero creo que aquí hay algo de esperanza, no sólo por la nominación del gremio de actores, es que todavía me dura el impacto de verla en el trailer. Lástima que Blonde no ha gustado y ha sido bastante polémica. Pero yo sigo viendo opciones, creo que Cate Blanchett es una diva, adorada y respetada por todos, pero creo que a la vez resulta un poco antipática y fría, y además ya tiene un oscar. Soy un iluso.

Yo creo que va a ganar Fraser porque si algo le gusta a Hollywood es un buen comeback,y más cuando el que vuelve lo ha pasado tan mal y además es un buen tipo.
