Es muy interesante los premios de los que os hablo en este post
Resulta que la Universidad del Sur de California (USC) otorga desde hace 24 años el denominado USC Scripter Award.
Se trata de un premio que valora tanto la película que adapta un texto pre-existente (guión adaptado) como el propio libro o novela en el que se basa (y eso es lo extraordinario).
O sea, que valora ambas obras, en su conjunto.

Este año, las nominadas son:

MEJOR GUIÓN ADAPTADO DE UNA NOVELA

Alexander Payne, Nat Faxon, y Jim Rash "The Descendants"
Moira Buffini "Jane Eyre"
Steven Zaillian, Aaron Sorkin y Stan Chervin "Moneyball"
Bridget O’Connor "Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy"

Hay que reconocer que tienen muy buen acierto o gusto al elegir casi todos años, buenos guiones adaptados y obras de la que parten.
