Efectivamente, en las categorías interpretativas, sobre todo en actriz protagonista, hay curvas con estas nominaciones que pueden provocar más de una sorpresa. El martes, veremos si hay alguna influencia en las nominaciones al Oscar.

Al menos este año la carrera esta siendo entretenida sobre todo respecto al tema actoral. Con tanta division no hay grandes favoritos en ninguan categoria y todo puede pasar. El dia 8 sera interesante ver las nominaciones a ver que pasa.

Respecto a las nominaciones de los BAFTA, parece seguir la tendencia del año pasado, de nominar nombres y películas que pasan desapercibidos para la Academia de Hollywood. Ya pasó con The Mauritanian, una buena cinta que consiguió 5 nominaciones en los BAFTA, incluida mejor película y 0 en los Oscar. Aunque al final, Nomadland fue común en ambos como ganadora de película y dirección.


Habrá que ver en las categorías interpretativas, si pasa como el año pasado. Que hubo nombres "nuevos" en los BAFTA, pero a la hora de la verdad salieron los mismos ganadores que finalmente en los Oscar.

Así, de bote pronto, me sigue llamando la atención la confirmación de Paul Thomas Anderson y su película. A principios de la temporada de premios, sonaba muy poco y creo que será una de las firmes nominadas en los Oscar.
Y también qué pasará con la japonesa Drive my car, que creo que puede arañar muy buenas nominaciones en los Oscar, como ha pasado en los BAFTA.

No sé si sabréis que desde el año pasado las nominaciones a los BAFTA no las deciden todos sus miembros,sino un Jurado de 12 personas.
Eso explica las sorpresas.

Es uno de los mayores alicientes para mi de esta temporada. Y ya hemos visto otras veces que es la manera de reconocer la Academia a algún director y guionista.
