Hoy se conocerán las nominaciones a los Globos de Oro, que por primera vez en la historia no serán concedidas por la asociación de prensa extranjera, sino por un nuevo comité surgido de la refundación de los premios la primavera pasada. Este es el link de video para verlas en directo:

Siendo aún muy pronto para sacar conclusiones, con pocos premios de la crítica ya entregados, y otros tantos en lista de nominación, y a la espera de los Globos de Oro hoy (que tampoco van a cambiar la carrera), algunos puntos interesantes que se están viendo serían los siguientes:

- En la categoría de película "Oppenheimer" está funcionando como se esperaba, "Barbie" está entrando bastante, y "The holdovers" también está teniendo buen recorrido. Sin embargo, esperaba más amor a "Killers of the flower moon", algo mucho más incontestable a nivel crítico (siendo que sí que está teniendo reconocimientos).

-A nivel de dirección Nolan está como se esperaba, Gerwig también, y Scorsese ha entrado de momento a medias.

-En interpretación Cillian Murphy ha entrado sin duda, y Pual Giamatti está muy bien. Bradley Cooper está entrando también, mientras DiCaprio está a medias también. Jeffrey Wright está también bien posicionado.

-Lily Gladstone parece que va a arrasar, y Margott Robie también parece que, junto con Emma Stone, va a llegar sin problema.

-Robert Downey Jr y Ryan Gosling están en todos lados, mientras Ruffalo también parece ir entrando. Robert De Niro está desaparecido.

-Davine está arrasando, y es de esperar que llegue al final sin problema.


Para mí, según estoy viendo, la gran sorpresa es que Robert De Niro no esté entrado en nada, parece que está olvidado, aunque no lo daría por muerto ni de broma. "Killers...", esperaba algo más de apoyo, aunque sí está siendo apoyada, pero esperaba presencias más incontestables tanto de Scorsese como de DiCaprio, mientras Lily Gladstone parece que va a arrasar.
Por otra parte, Oppenheimer parece ser la película de consenso, con Nolan, Murphy y Downey Jr sin problema para entrar, y con Emily Blunt con mucha menos presencia de la esperada, lo cual creo que la puede hacer quedarse fuera (no tiene el nombre de un DeNiro por ejemplo).
Barbie está funcionando muy bien en general también.
The holdovers creo que es la otra gran película del año, a mi se me va a hacer larga la espera hasta verla en enero.

Se acaban de conocer las nominaciones a los Critics´ Choice Awards. Estos premios, que hasta hace pocos años pugnaban por sustituir en relevancia a los Globos de Oro dentro de la carrera, sufrieron una clara devaluación cuando empezaron a incluir categorías y más categorías (llego a haber mejor película de acción, terror, comedia, etc...), o como cuando nominaron a posteriori al "El despertar de la fuerza", estrenada después del anuncio de las candidaturas (eso fue absolutamente bochornoso). Ahora parece que vuelven un poco a la "normalidad" con unas nominaciones más convencionales:
