El super castlevania de snes una verdadera obra maestra y una joya A mi si no es tampoco en 2D pues como que no, aparte de que con as 2D tiene su encanto que no con las 3D :cabreo

Pero, cojonudo si es para ponerse con la peli de "Death Race" que queria hacer (eso pone en la noticia).

Lleva años queriendo hacerla y me supongo que debe ser ahora cuando le ha salido la opcion.

Siempre he pensado que la idea de hacer una nueva peli de death race es muy buena, y creo que le puede quedar mas que decentilla.

¿Castlevania? Un Symphony of the Night por Laura Wachowski. Seguro que sabría captar muy bien a el -¿la?- protagonista.

Update... Bloody-Disgusting's insider tells them the below synopsis, gleaned from an official production listing sent our way by our own sources, is outdated. We're awaiting on confirmation.

The first plot details for Rogue Pictures' Castlevania, based on the Konami video game, have floated our way.

Sylvain White (Stomp the Yard) is directing the horror-actioner; he's working from a script by Paul W.S. Anderson and Ian Jeffers. Sources tell us shooting will begin sometime in February.

Beware, there may be SPOILERS ahead. Read on and try not to get all nostalgic for Van Helsing.

It is the year 1691... The land of Transylvania has been at peace for 100 years now, and the peasants and villagers have begun to purge their minds of the memories of the times when the lands were dominated by chaos and shadows, and when the undead walked the earth.

However, there are those that remember that the evil Count Dracula returns every 100 years to plague the land, bringing with him the forces of Hell. Thus, one evening, the Prince of Darkness rises and returns to Castlevania, his ancestral home, calling forth his minions to purge the world of human flesh. The people cry out for a hero - someone to defend them from the evil desires of the count. Thankfully, they don't have to look very far, for within the land of Transylvania the Belmont line still lives, as Simon Belmont, great-grandson of Christopher Belmont, takes up the legendary whip called the Vampire Killer, and sets forth on his journey through the darkened countryside to the dark lord's castle.

Upon arrival, the young man fights his way through legions of zombies, gigantic bats, and even faces Death himself, but in the end, he makes it to the Count and in a battle to end all battles, he comes out the victor. The price? The evil master places a curse of death upon Simon, which will lead him into a long and dangerous journey in the very near future.

Hombre... pués no sé, no creo que salga algo muy bueno, pero seguro, seguro que violencia gratuita tendremos por un tubo.

Pues parece que de momento al proyecto se le da carpetazo.

Now, Anderson has signed "Saw" creator/director James Wan to re-write the script and helm the new movie. But don't expect a "Castlevania" film to appear in theaters any time soon.

"[The project is in pre-pre-production [and no one is] exactly sure when it's going to shoot," said Anderson, adding that he still doesn't know whether the film will rely on CG effects or how close it will stick to the game. "We're still working on it, so I don't want to preempt that. We're just not there yet."

¿ Por qué no dejan al clan de los Belmont tranquilos y siguen haciendo buenos juegos como Dios manda ?

Me temo que al nuevo director el proyecto le queda un tanto grande. Wan se mueve mejor en películas pequeñas, sin la presión de los productores.
