Description
The ultimate teen TV addicts of the 1990s, Beavis and Butt-Head, are facing the unthinkable: their television set has been stolen. Leaving the house in a daze, they soon encounter the sketchy Muddy Grimes, who mistakes them for the hitmen he's hired to murder his wife. Armed with nothing but misinformation, an eagerness to score, juvenile humor, and unconscionable amounts of dumb luck (quite literally), the constantly chuckling duo hit the road, causing total havoc across America. Soon, everyone from the FBI to their neighbors, the Andersons, gets swept up in an epic odyssey of mistaken identities, cavity searches, and general stupidity that totally doesn't suck.
Based on Mike Judge's hugely successful MTV characters, BEAVIS AND BUTT-HEAD DO AMERICA took these animated Generation X icons to the top of the box office and earned widespread critical acclaim. Loaded with sarcastic pop-culture parodies and boundless, inane slacker energy, the film was written, directed, produced, and largely voiced by Judge himself (director of Office Space), with additional voice performances by Bruce Willis (Pulp Fiction), Demi Moore (Ghost), Robert Stack (Airplane!), and Cloris Leachman (Young Frankenstein). Vinegar Syndrome Ultra is proud to present this infectious cult comedy, newly restored in 4K from its original camera negative.
