Tema: Saber el número de horas de uso de un Panasonic X10

Hola a todos. Despues de hacer algunas consultas en el foro, me he decidido a comprar un Panasonic TXPF42X10 en Makrostv.com, que me ha llegado hoy.

El televisor me ha llegado muy rápido, tiene buena pinta y me está dejando bastantes buenas sensaciones, salvo en el partido de futbol de España ya que en las panorámicas generales con movimientos rápidos, se notaba una pérdida leve pero apreciable de definición, imagino que por la incapacidad del televisor para adaptar con rapidez (reescalar con solvencia) la señal de TDT de 576 lineas entrelazadas en 4:3, a 720p y 16:9 con movimientos vivos.

Lo que si me ha mosqueado un tanto (y es el motivo principal por el cual he abierto el hilo), es el hecho de que algunos elementos que venian en la caja, como por ejemplo el mando a distancia, el cable de corriente, e incluso los manuales, venian con los plásticos abiertos o no del todo bien precintados, tal y como estoy acostumbrado en productos completamente nuevos. Me he fijado con detalle en la pantalla y no parece tener síntomas visibles de haber sido usada con anteriordad, pero aún así me pregunto si el plasma que me han enviado puede haber sido un producto devuelto por otro cliente o, peor aún, un producto de exposición.

Por ello me gustaría saber si habría algún modo de averiguar en algún menú (como se puede hacer en un proyector), el número de horas de uso de la pantalla. Esta información me sería de gran utilidad.

En el modelo X10 no lo sé..., en el V10 necesitas acceder a su menú oculto. Tratándose de modelos diferentes de la misma marca, es probable que el acceso a esa información sea similar.

En principio es así:

How to check for how long your TX-37PX10 has been on (tested) and how many times it was On/Off:

1. On the TV itself, hold down the “Vol -” button (on the right hand side of TV)
2. While holding the volume button down, press “0” on the TV remote three times. Wait. The service menu will load.
3. Now press the “2″ button on the remote. This will pull up a window with the word “SRV-TOOL”.
4. Press the “OK” button on the remote. A light blue grid will appear.
5. On the Grid, move the cursor down (using the remote down arrows) to the row labeled “PTCT”
6. Move cursor to the right. It should be an empty box on the grid.
7. Hold MUTE for 3 seconds. The amount of time the display has been on will be next to the word “TIME” this is in hours and minutes.

To get out of the service menu, either hold Exit on the remote for 3 seconds or switch off the TV using the on/off on the TV itself.

Gracias Jp1138, eres un crack. Efectivamente he probado y funciona perfectamente.
Me he quedado mucho más tranquilo, ya que tan solo mr marca tres horas y medio de funcionamiento y cinco encendidos/apagados, que se correspondería con la utilización que hice del televisor ayer.

Esta información me ha sido de gran utilidad. Sería muy recomendable que todos usasemos esta opción cuando compramos un televisor nuevo.

¿Se puede resetear ese contador?
A lo mejor ya se conocen el truco y lo han reseteado ellos mismos.

¿Eso de meterte en el menú oculto no es perjudicial?. Me suena haberlo leido en algún hilo. Puede que se refiriesen a otra cosa.
